Topic: What game do you think Retro Studios is working on?

Star Wars Commando 2, Star Wars 1313, Star Wars - Rogue Squadron Awakens, erm...something Star Warsy. Miyamoto mentioned how Impressed he was with Star Wars TFA so based on that measly morsel of information I will speculate on a Star Wars launch title...with a David Wise soundtrack...

I hate to tell you this but EA owns the rights to producing all Star Wars games so don't expect any Nintendo exclusive titles.

@FragRed: Star Wars in Disney infinity. Star Wars FA Lego. Star War pinball...ok I am really reaching now...

@GrailUK: Star Wars is already in Disney Infinite isn't it? And I think they may already be talking about Force Awakens Lego, but that will be multiplatform and certainly wouldn't be anything worth shouting about for a potential exclusive game, especially as Retro don't make Lego games.

So unless Retro are producing another Donkey Kong, and I really hope not as they need a big launch for the NX, I think it will be a new IP. Certainly not Star Wars, in any way shape or form.

Yes, we need more open world 3D games. We had a whopping 3 game on Wii U that were exploration based games.

I was thinking about new titles, but if we count everything including 3rd party titles, there's also Assassin's Creed games, Zelda remakes, Batman games etc.

Like some people here already said, Retro Studious could resurrect that Raven Blade game they worked on before Metroid Prime.

Oh right, Zelda U isn't out yet.

Yeah...i really can't wait anymore. It's starting to get frustrating. At least, at this point, seems an E3 reveal is really inevitable...

I hope instead it's a Metroid Prime 4 but with some adjustments (using both joy-cons with gyro for both arms would be really awesome!!), and most of all story that explains what happens after fusion, not after Prime 3

I'd buy a new Donkey Kong or Metroid Prime game, but using Retro to establish a new IP would be amazing.

Bold but more risky than working on a classic I guess.

If they were to do that then a New Super Mario Bros game would be interesting, that series has got so stale no one seems to want it anymore, which is a shame. Who better to revitalise it.

Ha, I don't. And can wait. I hope Nintendo have either something mind blowing for the series planned, or rest it for its own sake.

Can we not have another DK game after getting two in a row? Or at the very least do something new with the series and not just another level pack sequel like the 17 other level pack sequels on Wii U and 3DS? Tropical Freeze was bad enough with it basically playing the same as Returns. Last thing we need right now is for DK to become like NSMB and overstay its welcome.

Not a big fan of metroid so far. But to be honest i havent really played much of it. Well id also like something besides dk. Still after tropical freeze i know that i NEED one dk every generation. To me its the king of jumpnruns now.
