@skywake It's too good to be true because it's Nintendo, and they somehow manage to screw something up along the way, even if it's something small like this.
Jokes aside, it looks more like one of those ''fan's wishlist come true'' than anything else. I think that's what people mean when they say it's too good to be true. I expect everything eventually, but not in a single update.
too good to be true for me means its hight not common to have that many new fatures added all at the same time, when PS4 and XB1 added features that are expected at launch they took several years and added them slowly
maybe because the Switch was late to the party they will try and play catch up to those "standard" featues but we shall see how fast they are all added
The only reason it may be APPROACHING true (but by no means completely true) is because it's been a long time since a UI update of any meaningful sort. That is, pretty much, the entirety of the Switch's lifetime? I know they added some little bit or bob along the way at some point, but it's so miniscule I can't even remember it off the top of my head.
I know comparing is a fallacy, but Sony and Microsoft release UI updates and revamps 2 or 3 times a year. If Nintendo had any kind of small team working on the UI for the past 10 months, they've got to have something significant to unveil soon...
@The64Master So, I did a bit of digging - apparently the video was taken down by the user (rather than forcibly removed at the request of Nintendo) ..of course, as a supposed 'employee', Nintendo may have just asked him/her to delete the video from their channel directly - but it may also have just been a ruse to make it seem more legit (eg. keep it up until it's gained a bit of traction, then take it down to make it seem like a 'cover up')
Unfortunately, I don't think we can read anything in to its removal either way.
Man, what I would do to be able to browse and binge on that sexy device. I'm sick of waiting for it to be possible, while it's not even certain that it ever will be.

Okay, just for everyone who's stated that Hulu coming to Switch is part of this leak? It's already been released, nearly two months ago now. Anyways, as for the leak itself, I'm actually going to jump on the real boat. Why? I dunno just a gut feeling. Just because all those features are in beta though, doesn't mean that they'll all arrive in the 5.0 release though. They'll probably roll out over the course of 2 or 3 numbered updates, and the media apps aren't even part of the system updates.
Yes I'm sad to admit I was fooled and wrong..but hey you can't blame A guy for hoping ? Lol ...hey wait maby this Twitter kid didn't really fake it and is just trying to get attentio.....ohh nevermind the dream is dead!
