Topic: What's your first name? Do you like it? Change it?

My name is Brandon.

Do I like it? I guess, haha.

Would I change it? Yeah. It's too common. I'm Puerto Rican and Domenican, yet, I don't have a 'spanish' based name. I'm on the only one of 3 that has an American name (is it even American?). I was supposed to by called Dillon/Dylan, so it was either that or Brandon..

Oh, and I found out awhile ago it means "Young Prince" and "Broom Hill". And people mistake me for being younger than I am

I dunno why, but I really like it as a name. I could live with myself. Glad my middle name is Abel, at least. Named after one of my uncles on my father's side.

But Shane.. Well, I know a Shane that people didn't like because he was.. well, loud, gross and whiney.

@Komic: My first name is Brendon with an "e" instead of an "a" Its interesting that both our names end in "don" instead of the more common "dan" or "den." Do people ever mistakingly write your name with dan or den? People do that A LOT with my name...Its always "is that dan or den" and I'm like "Neither! its don." Kind of irritates me As for changing my name, I don't really love my name but can't think of what else I might like so I guess its fine.

Oh, no. People spell my name right with not question. But you're the first one I've seen with that style, because I know of one who was named Brendan. And I think one that's named Brenden.

My name is Joseph. I prefer to be called Joey over Joseph and anything over Joe. Joe is such a dull, common name... Do I like my name? Best name ever. Would I change it if I could? Nope.

I was supposed to be called Noah or Nick but since Joseph runs heavy in my family I was named Joseph.
