thanks for responding to my forum corbie. I just joined last night, and I've been trying to get an admin to notice me. You're my favorite reviewer, just so you know. But seriously, how is pokemon not in your top 5?
@corbie now I'm beginning to think you suck a little, but don't take that the wrong way. Oh, and I'm thinking about buying chrono trigger with my birthday money- but that won't be till october.
My nieces like Pokemon, but I just missed the boat on it. Perhaps I'm just too old. Dragon Warrior Monsters I love, but I just didn't care much for Pokemon. But I don't think you suck for liking it. Okay maybe just a little.
I've never played Chrono Trigger, but would like to. Tales of Symphonia is right up there on the list. Secret of Mana, Terranigma is okay. I'm really not into RPGs like the FFs of the world. But if it is supposed to be really good, I'll give it a go.
To me if you strip away the dressing of an rpg, all your left with is repetitive leveling. Therefore I like the Mario rpgs (all of them) the best due to their semi real-time battle system. Also the story is lighthearted and is never mellow dramatic or takes itself too seriously.
