I hope the Stream (or whatever..) comes out this year. Who cares if it's released the same year as the 3DS? Both will continue to sell well alongside each other. And oh yeah, Nintendo.. get rid of the damn gimmicky controller screen.. And let the Wii have the damned Skyward Sword, and give us 'Streamers' a kick-ass graphical powerhouse, 360 and PS3 walloping, new Zelda! Oh yeah...

Nathan commented on Rumour: We May See a New Nintendo Console at E3:
Oh yeah, it needs to happen ASAP. The Wii sucks right now. Graphics are a major factor for most people, so they better take into consideration the fact that Microsoft and Sony will be upping their capabilities as well with their next gen. I would hate to see Nintendo a step or two behind again...

Nathan commented on Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D Launches on 19th June:
@Ryno: Hey, I'm in too, mine is the 13th of June.
This is what I've been waiting for, an updated Ocarina of Time... Even though I completed the original on the N64 around about 11 or 12 times..

Why those graphics? I'm pleased the 3DS was made, but def disappointed with this game from what I've read and seen so far.

I wanted to get Pilotwings when I heard about it... until I saw the dreaded (by me and many others I'm sure) Wu- fricken Hu Island). That's it Nintendo..! What the 'beep' is up with you guys, huh? You think rehashing the same old crap over and over will help your image? This is not, I repeat, not the kind of Pilotwings (on SNES and N64) I know and love.

Well, it's about time we heard more on this. I'll be glad to spend hours and hours of my life with it.

LOL at the video...
I loved the Zelda games and I was always excited to watch the cartoon when it came on. Even if he did say that phrase at least once in every episode.

Nathan commented on Review: Stunt Race FX (Super Nintendo):
Loved this game. Played it at a friend's house back in the day, and eventually bought it off him if I recall correctly. It really was a fun game.

Nathan commented on Aonuma: Prepare for Zelda Surprise Next Year:
I hope they have the story as non-linear for the most part. Being able to control (to a reasonable extent) what and/or how events transpire in the game would be better than the structure they have had for too long.

Nathan commented on Review: New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Wii):
I got through the game far too quickly. Yes, there are some challenging areas, but nothing a veteran Mario player couldn't handle. I have to say that the same music gets played too frequently throughout many levels also. As I finished the game, I had over 80 lives remaining... Still, after all that, it was a fun experience, and truly one of the best games on the Wii thus far. I really did love the nods to the past games. Ahhh... nostalgia. 9.1/10.

Yes it is all kinds of awesome. Picked it up today after work, have yet to actually play it, but read the manual and oogled the disc. Thumbs up!

Nathan commented on Review: Pilotwings (Virtual Console / Super Ni...:
@MattL: You're not even in Expert mode yet, wait for that one...
Ahhh, I loved Pilotwings as a child, and still do. I think Stuffgamer1 is just not very good at these Mode 7 style games. But I don't know how he can think it is complicated. The game is fairly basic as a sim. But it may also be the wind factor in other plane levels that have put him and others like him, off.

Nathan commented on Review: Metroid Prime Trilogy (Wii):
I had a brief play of both Metroid Prime, and Corruption. Both were fun to play. Of course the 3rd was the best. So, because I've barely played the games, and haven't touched Echoes, I've pre-ordered a copy which will be released by EB games on the 15th of October here in Australia.

I don't think so Aviator. Anyway, not too shabby in the still shots, I haven't seen it running, but it's decent for the Wii.

The Wii is amateurish? Oh yeah, like the games on the 360 and PS3 are really, really hard to complete and need a superb level of skill.. what a laugh.

Nathan commented on Miyamoto: You Need A Controller For True Immer...:
The Natal has potential. Could be really well done, you can still hold a wheel in your hands for racing games. Or you could use a gun-like peripheral for FPS. I don't see any problem with FPS with Natal, even though I've read numerous comments to the contrary.

Nathan commented on Nintendo Download: Masks, Crystals, Chess and ...:
@Revolver, since the others are likely busy playing MM right now, I'll say that the GC controller is the best for this game and for all like it. The GC pad is one of the best gamepads ever made.
@Bones: haha.. yeah, that's probably true.

@Devastator, Yeah, if you have a hard time coming across a copy, and you don't have, nor will get an Xbox 360.
#38
Nathan commented on Prepare To Gnash Those Teeth: Perfect Dark May...:
@MegaMX4: If you have both consoles setup somewhere in your home, why complain about having to switch over from one to the other? Things are already very convenient in the gaming department. All I have to do is pick up my 360 controller and hold that X-logo down for a bit and voila, I have quick access to my XBLA games, which include the Banjo games. With the VC, it's just a stretch of the ol' arm to pick up the remote in my small tv cabinet to play the VC games...
I understand your point for those with only the Wii though.
But oh man... Perfect Dark online multi on the 360 will be cool. I only wish I could plug in an N64-like controller to it..

Nathan commented on Prepare To Gnash Those Teeth: Perfect Dark May...:
If Perfect Dark is going to have multi online, it will be worth purchasing again.

I loved Pilotwings, although I probably have it somewhere... around.. here.. Woo! Look out!
(OoT carpenters in the Gerudo fortress referential joke).
Super Mario Kart was (stressing on the "was") cool too, used to play it at a friend's place. I wonder how it's gonna hold up..

Nathan commented on Review: The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (N64):
This game kicks so much arse! Finally able to get back into it again. For those who haven't played it yet, I won't spoil it by revealing everything that I love about the game, but I will add that there does seem to be a tiny amount of sound and framerate glitches at a couple of spots (they don't last long), so far only really been while loading an area... not all areas, so don't be too worried. Other than that, MM is a real treat. Best game on the VC so far. Enjoy!

Nathan commented on The End Of The World Starts In Europe:
@Starfox, all you have to do is basically roll into each kid. There are two in the north of town, there are two in the east, one holding a cuckoo to float down from a building, and the other one in that area is on the top of the stock pot inn. The last one is just outside the post office. Hope that helps.
I've actually got stuck rather soon too, as I forgot how to get my first bottle... oh well, it may come to me. (Thinks to self: Do I win it in a side game...?)
#47
Nathan commented on The End Of The World Starts In Europe:
@VGP, I have never played it on the gamecube, but the VC version seems to have no difference to the original. If only I had them side by side.. But oh yeah, I forgot how great an N64 game can be. It's still hard to tell which game is better... MM or OoT? OoT holds the special place still, because it is set in Hyrule, with the tradtional storyline, and was of course the franchise's first foray into the 3D realm. What can I say? They both hold a very high place in gaming excellence. There, that'll do.
#48
Nathan commented on The End Of The World Starts In Europe:
All right! Finally another N64 title. Come on Nintendo, keep reeling in those big ones...
Anyway, I had this once upon a time, glad it's on the VC now. But darn it, I have to buy more points now, seeing as though I have 900...

Nathan commented on Japanese Virtual Console list - April 2009:
Ahh, Majora's Mask. Yep, bought this when it was first released in Australia. Was maybe better than Twilight Princess for me. At least MM had the classic Zelda theme music playing in the field area... The next real Zelda to be released for the Wii better have enough hits of nostalgia, please. Heck, a vastly updated and expanded 'A Link to the Past' in 3D would be good enough...
