The Cube. PC, too, if it counts.

N64, mainly played this throughout my childhood and even sometimes today. My siblings and I would always play games like Smash Bros., Donkey Kong 64 and Pokémon Stadium(been wanting a new one for awhile).

5. Atari 2600 (the video game system my Grandmother had and was my very first taste of video games).
4. Sega Master System II (both my friends had one. It was my first taste of Sonic the Hedgehog and Alex Kidd games).
3. PS2 (I used to love playing the Buzz! quiz games with my friends, although I am awesome at music trivia so this meant that people were always wary when playing against me).
2. N64 (because it had 3 of my most favourite games of all time - Super Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie & Mario Kart 64) .
1. NES (my first real taste of Nintendo - Super Mario Brothers 3 was absolutely awesome at the time. Also, thanks to the movie "The Wizard", I was able to find one of the magic flutes [Warp Whistles]).

The PS2. It wasn't my first system, but it was really the first time I got to play with someone else extensively. Me and my best friend at the time spent the night at each other's houses pretty much every Saturday back when I was in middle school up through high school, and we'd spend all night goofing around in Godzilla: Save the Earth, as well as that year's WWE & Dragon Ball Z games (the wrestling games were pretty fun too, especially since we'd create our own roster of various people/characters, such as Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Vegeta, Sora, InuYasha, the Hulk, Peter Griffin, etc.).

Though it was also host to some of my favorite single player games, even to this day. Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy X, Ultimate Spider-Man, Okami, and Kingdom Hearts II to name a few.

The Nintendo Wii. It's the first system I can really call my own and not a hand-me down from my brother or a gift from a parent. It was also the first system that I went crazy on with so many game titles since I didn't have to depend on other people for games or money to buy games (as much) and it was either cheap or on sale. It is also the first and somewhat only system I can get my friend and family including the ones over the age of 35 to play along as well, which is a big thing for me since most of them are not the gaming types and I been trying to convince some of them to play since the NES era as a kid. It was a system you didn't have to take seriously to have fun

SNES since I spent a lot of time on it after I got out of the hospital. Link to the Past, Street Fighter II and Samsho were my go tos.

After that the N64 was the system of sheer wonder for me. I remember saving up my money from Chick fil A and buying a decent (for a 14 year old) sound system and just playing Mario 64 and 1080 for hours.

Sega Genesis gets an honorable mention as it is the only system that has a game that I can play by sound alone. Shinobi III.

N64 and GameBoy are probably my biggest most fondest memories, followed by GameCube. Although I do have fond memories of when the Wii was in it's prime and the whole generation did us proud even if there were some notable oopsies like awkward motion/flick controls, low system power (not that it mattered to me) or the million useless accessories that Nintendo and third parties sold to sit on your Wii remote for no reason.
I'm pretty confident that the WiiU & 3DS will leave great impressions on me when all is said and done cause I've not played this much Nintendo since GCN & GBA. The Wii & DS were just blah in comparison to the other gens I mentioned imo.

It will always be the SNES vs GenesisX days. The SNES outlasted SEGA while they had four transitions into the Saturn era as well. When N64 came out, SEGA died. SONY was the winner of the N64 days no matter which way you slice it. The SNES days was the best along with the Nintendo days ( which I missed out on ). NES did have some nice merchandise and advertisements but otherwise meh.

For me the N64 without a doubt holds my most precious memories of playing games as a kid and in my opinion they still hold up rather well even today. So many classics on that system, many of which shaped the way we play games today.

Tough question.
The SNES was literally my first video game console ever, and I sort of grew up with it. However the GameCube is what made me the gamer I am today. The Zelda Collection is what made me get into the Zelda franchise, the Mega Man Anniversary Collection did the same as well, alongside the Sonic Mega Collection. Hell, all my gaming consoles have sort of have a significant impact on me in someway. With my PS2 I got recently went my "Nintendo only" streak, and I'm glad for it. My 3DS and Wii U experiences have made me reliant on myself when it came to getting my own games (my used 3DS was the first console I've bought with my own money!) and it feels oddly satisfying. Even the flash gaming craze inspired and fueled my own passion for making games...
Oh jeez, now I'm rambling.
My gaming career isn't over yet, and won't be for long time honestly. I'm hopeful for what the future brings, and am excited to greet it when whatever next comes.

Tough question for sure, but I think I'll go with the Game Cube. The memories I have of playing Double Dash and Melee with my friends growing up simply can't be denied.

My game library ranges from Mario Kart to Call of Duty to Tales of Xillia to Diablo 3 to Forza. To me gaming is about having fun - not blindly supporting only one company while thumbing your nose at "the evil other systems."
