I call this one "Iz's Haiku":

I really feel the emotional subtext is a witty commentary on government autocracy.

Sometimes you want to escape
Fly away like a bird, get away somehow.

Sometimes you want to RULE,
And do things your own way,
have complete freewill.

But what if it were true?
(What if nothing mattered?)
Would the good control the bad?
Would people behave
or would they wreak havoc?

Would they steal? Would they kill?
Do all the things they should never do?
Just because
of a lack
of
C o n s e q u e n c e?

Just because they wanted
Freedom from their “guiding hand”
Freedom from the rulers
Wanting it their own way

Sorry, it's just, I don't think lz is mean mean. It's just, I find he uses that word way too much. Also, someday maybe lz will be nice. I apologize to lz in advance.
Also, I think it's time I started making me some limericks.

Another member on NL wanted me to make a Nintendo themed poem. His thread got locked and was linked to this one. I decided to take a crack at it.
So here we go:

Letter To Peach

Dearest Peach,

If life has significance,
And I a reason to breathe air.
I've found that very reason,
Between the locks of your golden hair.
I'll travel the distant galaxies,
until your heart is won.
No other shines brighter,
No star no sun.
With eyes of glass,
Like you're about to cry.
Your eyes sparkle,
for every star in the sky.
An artist must have painted,
Roses on your cheeks.
And great gods from far beyond,
Must have thrown roses at your feet.
Those rosy red cheeks!
So tender so soft.
Oh! How I wish to bite thy head off.

It took me a while to come up with this poem
But at one moment I said:
"If I think about what I'm feeling
Maybe I can write that instead!"

A Poem

This is a poem dedicated to poems.
If I could write a poem, just maybe
this would make sense.
