Is it possible (any reason) not to switch guns with Curly?
Not to? Well... spoiler if you keep the Polar Star until you get your jetpack, then you can revisit the guy you stole it from and he'll give you the strongest gun in the game... end of spoiler
Anyway, I already started it up since I figured it would win. Currently on my seventh playthrough, and I'm going for a Snake run even though I suck with the gun.

I'll most likely just spend the month trying to get a really good time in the DSi version's 'Sanctuary Time Attack' mode, considering that will take at least 30 days and I've beaten the game four or five times in the last year.
SPOILER Also, can someone tell me what this fourth ending is? Is it not attempting the Sanctuary, but still saving a certain someone? That's kind of what Chicken said, I think.
SPOILER for Easter Egg Ending When you Get The Mimiga Mask Do not Give it back. Go and Fight The Boss with it, and The Story will change, , and New ending Pics too.SPOILER END
I'll tell you guys later about the never ending Life Pots, for another time
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
@Jumpmad You're just full of secrets I didn't know about!

I downloaded this for PC ages ago, got psyched for the WiiWare version and had to wait for the UK release. I'll pick it up if I get the time/moneys, but for now I've got the freeware version to fall back on. Good choice, though!
Thanks. I've tried the WW demo, and I know I'm going to enjoy the game. I'm just worried about it being too difficult.
Don't worry, the difficulty curve is very comfortable. You'll probably only have problems with a few of the bosses and some of the later stages. There are some crazy hard stages at the end but they are entirely optional (and pretty hard to unlock too) and those are what most people are referring to when they say this game is hard.
@JumpMad I've actually done that, but didn't notice any difference in the ending outside of some new dialogue. Maybe the pics are different for all I know.

The demo doesn't have save points, either. I'm not typically good at these types of games but I beat it without much trouble. I really think you should give it a shot!

Alright I finally got to the Sacred Grounds. AAARGH! SO HARD! Any tips for the second room? The one where you're carrying Curly and you have to shoot the little angels while the blocks fall from the ceiling. I don't have the Nemesis, which I now realize was a big mistake. I didn't really understand how to unlock it, though. I've got the spur, but it doesn't seem to be too helpful in that room. Seems like the bubbline would be the ideal weapon, but I can't level it up fast enough. Any tips?

Can you hit all of the energy pickups on the way down in the first room? I suppose the Bubbline would help at Level 3 since you don't have the Nemesis. The Blade could be worth a shot as well. Sorry I didn't catch before you missed the Nemesis, mate!
I'll try Time Attack with the Bubbline/Blade right now and let you know how it goes.

Thanks man let me know! I'm probably going to start another playthrough this month because Sanctuary is going to make want to cry if I do nothing but that for 30 days. I'm going to get the Snake this time around and, obviously, the Nemesis. What do I have to do exactly? I know it involves that little guy on the outer wall but I didn't know what I had to do to get him to trade.

Re: Nemesis - Talk to the little woman in the Outer Wall who says "Have you seen my husband?" Then go back to the Cemetery (via teleporter to Bushlands in Plantation might be fastest), kill the enemies, and talk to Mr. Little, roaming among the blades of grass. Sanctuary recommendation: Excellent, maybe essential even.
Re: Blade - Made it to third room before dying and was able to level it up to 2.5 initially. Recommendation: Fair.
Re: Bubbline - Died in room two and was able to (easily) level it up to Level 3 initially. Recommendation: Very poor.
*Note: Time Attack is on the original PC difficulty, so if you're on easy mode, which I really hope you are, your mileage may vary.
