Topic: Nintendo Life with Video Reviews

Is it possible for Nintendo Life to ever do video reviews, or is it going to stay written for all eternity....?

Video reviews would be kind of cool. Maybe they can do like ign and have both written and video.

That would be cool if they did do that and keep the written reviews.

That's a great idea. I wonder why they don't do that, they'll be much more popular then before.

James is going to dress up as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and I'm going to dress up as Little Red Riding Hood and we're going to do a "She Said, She Said" type video review. James has even suggested that we get lit before we do it, which might further add to the banter and entertainment value.

I did actually make a start on one a while ago, but the trouble is we don't have the capacity to capture our own video for Wii or DS games, which makes it very difficult to do proper video reviews. Of course, we could always point a video camera at the TV but that gives too much flicker to be really useful.

I've got no problem recording some links to splice between trailers and gameplay footage that devs send us, but it may not be the best way to demonstrate what we think of particular titles. Would that be something you'd want to watch, though?

PS We can introduce more dress-up, if that's what you want.

I would only watch this if the presenters are naked.

Not really a fan of video reviews unless they're done well. All too often some guy with a video camera thinks he can become a reviewer on youtube despite not having an ounce of writing or acting ability. or even editing ability it seems sometimes.

Not that this would be Nintendo Life. But I do I just mostly prefer text reviews.

Maybe you should headhunt someone who already does em... I think josh at wiifolder is very entertaining and have good quality on his vids.

If you start to do them. Do them like they are done at GT. Because honastlly, when i see or read a review, i dont give 2 cents for looking at the review talk. I wanna see the arguments portrayed in the video.

A complement on the games upgrade system should then show some footage of messing with that system.

I am not a fan of Josh take on things either.
