Topic: Headphones: Snap Em, Break Em

I've owned at least 20 pairs of headphones/earbuds over 24 years. I grew up in Calgary, and many were victims of the cold weather freezing the wires and then the wires breaking inside. Some pairs just had the ear cushions deteriorate, which for some evil reason most companies don't make it easy to replace those, so I still have a few pairs sitting around I could use if I ever found new cushions for them.

For the past 6 years I've been using Koss KSC-75 clip-ons, because they're cheap and sound awesome in comparison to anything twice as expensive. They look ugly, so it helps to deter robbers from thinking you have anything of value when you're out in public so they'll go after other people instead. I bought 3 pairs of them (plus I was able to buy extra ear cushions for them, yay), and so far only one pair broke.

I have lost a few at stores and food stops, um dog chewed my earbuds, um closed a pair in the car door. And others I don't remember what happened to them. I have pair of earbuds I got with my nano from apple.

I want really want the pair below.

BTW guys have you seen these Nintendo earbuds and headphones?

It is my hope that we'll see Nintendo create a new line of headphones and earbuds that are customized to our favorite franchises. For Zelda there could be a pair of earphones that carries the Triforce emblem on both of the ear mufflers and the plastic headband that goes on the head and the cord could all be green in color. There could be a red pair of earbuds dedicated to Mario, pink earbuds for Princess Peach, purple for Vivian of Paper Mario and blue and white earbuds and headphones for Pit (Kid Icarus).

Those are the style of earbuds I buy, the ones that go inside your ears. (The top picture) And it just so happens that I need a pair right now. Where are those sold?

@TeeJay: anywhere will carry 'em, but someplace like Best Buy would probably have a better selection of available colors/brands than maybe Target or Wal-Mart, y'know?

@TBD Right...I got my current, now-broken, pair at...Wal-Mart, I believe. They were Sony earbuds. I was very happy with it, I wouldn't mind buying the same pair again.

I was a huge fan of Miley Cyrus until she fail to the dark side and heading out to a Night Club for her Birthday. Thats what did it for me!

Skull Candy Headphones are the best. Have some and can't here anything except for my device.

Same with my Sony. No sound gets in. I'm not saying Skull Candy is bad; Skull Candy is a fantastic product, but I just have to say that my Sony earbuds lasted longer than my Skull Candy's did.

Never heard of Skull Candy earbuds O.O, Um yeah I don't want my sound leaked out, my parents are always saying turn THAT DOWN!

Sony does have indeed have the best headphones and earbuds on the market, they've got durable quality. I think that Skullcandy's headgear is also very good, particularly I like Skullcandy because of their name, it's simply catchy and addictive and their products are also very colorful. On the other hand, Apple's earbuds are quite good to, minus the expansive price tag that you're paying simply because it's a bloody Apple product. Steve Jobs is a money-grabber.

And yes, it's a bloody flipping problem to have the teenie wennies always leaking their crappy music because they think it's cool! What the heck is wrong with youth today?
