We didn't get word of the elite rewards till July 6th last year, so don't be too disappointed if they don't announce them right away. They may decide to purposely hold off a few days to reduce traffic on the site, because a lot of people hoard surveys to try to regain their elite status right away after the year resets, and a lot of people will be redeeming for the new games on July 1st too.

I'm new to club nintendo how do the awards work if you got platinum?

If you are gold or plantinum member, you have to wait for the end of the club Nintendo year which is the 30th of June, within the next few days you will be able to order the elite rewards and have to wait till December to get your reward.

How many can you order?

You can only choose one reward. Last year they had the choice of a Zelda Poster set and two other poster sets that I can't remember now, a couple of VC games and a Mario deck of cards.

Quick question. I dont remember but do your coins reset back to zero at the start of the new CN year?

They do expire July 1st if they are over two years old. If you log in and click on coins & status it will tell you the number of coins set to expire.

Perhaps among this year's gold/platinum prizes will be the first Wii U VC rewards? I'm not holding my breath, but that should would be nice.

Biggest Pikmin fan on NL!

Avian fact of the week: The Moa, an extinct relative of ostrichs and emus that inhabited New Zealand, was the tallest bird that ever lived at 12 ft tall (3.6 m). It was also the only known bird to have no wing structure.

Forget the Nintendo seal of approval
I only see GC 4.0 happening if I become a English major. Yeah, it is happening now. GC 4.0 will be released in 2020.

No. Non-Specific Action Figure before a Reggie action figure.

Exactly.

Well I am on the fence with FZero X on the VC. They offer it for 200 coins from CN and I am thinking of picking it up but is it worth it? I have never played this game but I do enjoy the SNES F Zero on the VC. Is this game better than F Zero or is it not as good? Will I enjoy it as much as F Zero?

I prefer the SNES F-Zero.

I prefer the N64 F-Zero. 3D graphics, more opponents on track, you can choose more characters, and there's more control options.
I played the F-Zero games in order(SNES, N64, GCN). The improvements they've made in ever entry make it pretty much impossible for me to go back to the older games.
