I just got my platinum reward in the mail yesterday.

It's the figurine that has the whole Super Mario gang on it, coolest reward I've seen yet. It came in a yellow box with question marks on it, and included a thank you note for helping Nintendo 'put smiles on gamers faces' by taking part in the surveys.

If you didn't know already, by registering your products at https://club.nintendo.com/ and filling out surveys, you get coins that can be redeemed for goodies. You can also get a special yearly reward without using any of your coins.

Anyhoo, the point of this post is, as small a thing as it is, it means a lot, and adds a personal touch. These things cost money to produce, and the cost of shipping to the members... It's just really refreshing when I can't turn my other systems on without being bombarded with advertisements. I think Microsoft would charge me for turning my 360 on if they could. Now that I think about it, shouldn't being subjected to all those commercials entitle me to free live? I mean, that's how commercial radio and television works, right?

All I'm saying is it's nice to be appreciated once in a while. And I, er, appreciate being appreciated.

I got the star messenger bag yesterday.

I got the email that they were beginning to ship the Platinum prizes one or two weeks ago, so hopefully my statue will arrive soon!

I got my figurine a few days go, and my messenger bag should be arriving in the next few days. Cool Nintendo stuff is awesome

They have ads on Xbox Live? That's crazy; don't you have to pay for that? Hooray for PS3 keeping it free and ad-free (unless you count the display of games that comes up when you go to the PSN Store section. I don't think that really counts though, since if you're going to that tab, you're probably interested in what's in the PSN store anyways).

I got my email for my prize shipping a couple weeks ago. I agree, as much as we complain about the crappy prizes at Club Nintendo (at least in NA), they really are the only company offering any rewards program at all. There's just enough stuff on there I want to get for the amount of games I purchase, so it's great for me.

Still waiting for my figurine, haven't ordered anything recently. Considering a bag, though...they look sweet. Much better than most of the recent offerings, for certain!

@Token: Not true...Sony's just starting PlayStation Rewards, currently in closed beta. And there's Squenix's Members thingy... But yeah, even with the problems with Club Nintendo, it's the best currently available.

And yes, Microsoft bombards you with ads on Xbox Live. It's bull honkey.

I tend to spend the stars on Nintendo point vouchers.

I enjoy Square Enix club myself. I never did care that much for XBOX btw. Nintendo and Sony are far better.

Just got my Super Mario pin w/ Mario, Yoshi,& Toad on it. It looks way shinier than I thought it would be. Now, I only need my Platinum reward.

Just got my figurine today. The question mark block designed box it came in was alone worth it, but the figurine is pretty cool too.

I got my statue today!

I'm still waiting on a confirmation e-mail that tells me my statue's been shipped, but I'm in no real hurry. So far the only reward that I've ordered from Club Nintendo was the first Game and Watch Collection, and I'll probably get the second one at some point, but for now I'm holding on to my points, just in case Nintendo decides to give NA the Super Famicom CC...

I've already reached platinum status for this year thanks to me registering older Wii games, so hopefully this year's reward will be awesome. I thought about getting the Mushroom tote bag, but that and the Star messenger bag are both sold out right now.

@TokyoRed: All I've gotten out of Square Enix Members thus far is a postcard. Woo. It makes Club Nintendo look absolutely perfect by comparison.

got the Starman bag today. It's a bit small for what I intended to use it for, and it needs to be aired out (lol, it reeks of chemicals), but it seems to be a sturdy little bag. I'll find something to put in it eventually :3 guessing the statue will come soon.
