Stop buying video games, save atleast 1/4 of your paycheck in the bank for future savings/emergencies, make your own food (no going out), start drinking only tap water, and if you have to buy a videogame make sure it's something long, that you can spend a lot of time with.

Put at least ten bucks away each month into a savings account and never touch it.
Get a piggy bank and keep nothing but your pennies in it.
Beat the video games you already have before spending money on more of them.
Don't have a girlfriend. Definitely don't have kids.
Money problems solved.
Silent Bob wins.

I'm not a legal adult, but I can regurgitate some of the information I learned at all of the "How to be a successful adult" type classes/lectures I've listened to.
1. Decide what's necessary and what's not. It's hard to budget without knowing what is most important and what isn't. Food, gas, electricity should be at the top, and video games, movies, music should be much lower.
2. Decide how much you want to spend, and don't overspend.
3. Set aside a certain amount of money or percentage of your paycheck, put it into a bank account, and forget about it. If you have $50 extra in your pocket, you are likely to spend it and not have it when you need it. If you put that $50 into an account, then later if a big expense comes up (say you break your arm playing basketball and your healthcare won't cover it) you'll be glad you have a little bit of cash for stuff like this.
Assorted tips include make your own food, wait for movies to hit Redbox, and don't buy morning coffee. Little short term expenses like those add up to be huge.
My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.
I overestimate the cost of everything so I end up with extra money. I only spend money if I have it. I never use credit cards.
I save up money for a vacation and then never take it so I have I suddenly have a bunch of extra cash.
Daily shopping: don't buy processed "ready to eat" foods, buy generic no-brand products whenever possible. Buy non-perishables like toilet paper in bulk if you have the storage space. Don't buy trendy rags in fancy shops but "sensible" clothes & shoes you can wear for several years. If you have the time, look out for special offers and discounts.
For bigger purchases: never buy something on impulse, ALWAYS think it over for a couple of days. Do you really need the latest model phone / car / gadget or will the old one do just as well?
