The only beers I've tried that I like are Coors Light and Rolling Rock. I like Mike's Hard Lemonade, myself. That's my drink of choice. I'm not a big drinker, though, so maybe if I drank more I'd like beer, who knows.
For drafts, Guinness, though Murphy's is also quite good. Jameson's Whiskey is a long-time favorite, but for a more casual drink, vodka tonics, preferably made with Skyy or Stoli, but the Russian in me is able to love just about any vodka.
More typically and usually (eg, at home), i'll have your usual American beers (Bud, Coors, Miller) in the fridge. Tthere's some Coors in there for later, actually.
Hmmm for Beer I always prefer microbrews if I can afford it. Maybe I am a bit of a beer snob, but I have seen some worse than me. Most beers out in the supermarket are not so great. If I do drink cheaply though Becks is a good way to go. It is cheaper than the Heineken's and is still pretty tasty. I also like Alaskan amber. What I really want is to try some from these guys but they don't serve this brand in any of my states. http://www.dogfish.com/ They focus on high quality (although very expensive beer.) We are reading about the owner of Dogfish Head in my Entrepreneurship class and it has me craving some.
Liquors I like pretty much anything, but tequila. If I want a strong tasty drink for cheap the way to go is kamikazes. For those of you that don't know what it is it's simply 1 oz Vodka, 1 oz triple sec, 1 oz lime juice, although i prefer less lime juice myself. That's just what the recipe is called for. You seriously should use cheap vodka for this as anything else is a waste. The lime juice kills any bad taste the cheap vodka will have. Also triple sec you can get for very cheap. The drink is very good too although be warned these are pretty strong. They are named kamikazes for a reason lol.
If I just want something straight my favorite is Gentleman's Jack although that is pretty expensive and I do not drink it often. I am pretty much down for anything though.
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
When I'm not drinking whiskey I'm drinking beer and vice versa. Red wine for when I'm trying to be civilized. And Baileys or similar when I'm feeling naughty.
I don't drink. Not because of some moral reasoning or whatever, I've just yet to find an alcoholic drink that doesn't taste like battery acid or piss. Not that I know what battery acid or piss taste like.

I used to like darker beers but now I'm pretty much a lager drinker; Spaten Lager being the greatest beer ever made, although I do like variety so gimme a dopplebock or IPA every now and then. @Vaynard, yeah, Dogfish Head is pretty awesome. When it comes to whiskey, I used to be a Scotch drinker, but now I prefer rye and bourbon, Sazerac and Bulleit being the best examples of those, respectively. They make tasty Manhattans. Irish is pretty popular at my regular hangout so I end up drinking alot of Tullamore Dew and Powers. I don't drink a whole lot at home so I'll cheap out and just have a case or two of Pabst Blue Ribbon lying around.
What is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets!
I prefer lighter beers - Rolling Rock, Corona and Bud Lite are those I generally go with here in the states. For "harder" drinks, I usually go with some variant of vodka and juice. Wine I usually only drink with food.
Oh, and I can't stand anything with heavy lime or lemon taste. A bit of lemon in my Corona is fine, but stuff like the new Golden Wheat Bud Lite or things with the words "lemon" or "lime" in the name just has a nasty, completely overpowering taste.
