@Toon Link: I locked the one topic of yours because that same exact question has been asked multiple times over on the forums (and always shows up in topics asking for favorite RPGs anyway), and I threatened to lock the other when you reverted my edit of 'official' to 'unofficial' in the title (Prosody weighed in on the issue a while back, and we've just been renaming the threads as they pop up, no big deal). Sorry if you're feeling picked on or something, but that was not my intention; seriously, dude, no offense. :3

As for merging threads, I've seen Prosody mention having done it more than once, but so far as I know, mods can't.

It's not easy to tell what's a joke and what's not online, though. No harm done though - although as a rule, directly undoing moderator edits after an admin has spelled out the lay of the land (just to mix my metaphors) isn't thought of as very funny, I'm afraid.

As for merging threads, I see my name has come up, but it's not a feature that's currently implemented. All I do is copy and paste from one topic into another by the same user, if such a topic exists, but there's no better way at the moment.
