I sent my 3ds into repair on Nov 13 2012 and I sent it in for a malfunctioning R button, I would be in mid-drift in MK7 and it'd just conk out. I think it's from my 100+ hours of playing that game.

i will sent it in this week because the right edge of my bottom screen leaves a scratch on my upper screen. typical problem for launch 3DS-systems.

should be free repair. if not 50€ :/

I sent mine in for a broken L and R button. It left California yesterday and now, I must wait. Hopefully I don't have to wait long.

I'm pretty sure it was from playing too much Kid icarus uprising

My son's had a broken pedometer or acceleromoter or gyrometer. I dunno. It was the thing that allowed the 3DS to count steps and a few other things I can't remember.

Mine is coming from California since yesterday at 2 am, its gotta get all the way here in Wisconsin! They repaired my L and R buttons, but the R was problematic!

I had sent mine in to the Kyoto home office repair center (I think that's how it is usually done here in Japan, I'm not sure if other countries have multiple repair centers). They told me a week to 10 business days, and just like Amazon.jp, it is usually half that time, it got here in 4.

I sent it in because the bottom screen was turning a yellow-ish tint, which from what I researched is not too rare of a problem.

It was a free fix.

warranty is only one year and i have my 3DS since launch.
but the consumerservice told me repairing it would be free if the fault is by nintendo and not by me. so it should be free

I sent my 3DS in to get the screen scratches fixed. I don't think they fixed the screen, but I got a warranty extension and that's really what I sent it in for

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

in feburary i had to send it in due to the circle pad acting like it was being held down all of the time, even if i touched nothing.

I sent in mine for a camera problem and L R buttons. They sent it back with the cameras not working at first. They started working after a couple days.

I'm not saying let's kill all the stupid people, I'm just saying let's take off the warning labels, and see what happens.

Lets see...

1st time - Outer cameras malfunctioning. Got it back with shoulder buttons repaired (which was nice), but not cameras.
2nd time - Resent for cameras. Cameras fixed, but Start button felt like it was pushed in too far (which I didn't notice prior to sending off).
3rd time - Sent because of Start button. Came back with no real change to it.

I'd send it off a 4th time, but I'm gonna wait on that, because I want to have my 3DS for a little bit, lol.
