I am sorry LindsayPez that this threard annoyed you. Maybe i asked the wrong way and i should have asked for games that are non shooting/fighting ones.....i just thought there are some games that are played most by males...and some games that are more popular among females.

Thank you for the other suggestions!

@LindsayPez I'm only recommending Animal Crossing because I (as a guy) love the game and think it's a great game for pretty much anyone.

@LindsayPez: With the exception of Kirby's Triple Deluxe, I only recommended games I've enjoyed. My recommendations had nothing to do with gender, but the previous experiences she had on the Gameboy and Wii.

I am enjoying my 2DS
Almost finished the New Super Mario Bros 2 (still have to defeat the main enemy). The game was fun, a bit easier then the one back in the Game Boy days.
For Christmas i bought myself a game, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, it is fun, I enjoy the puzzles.
From the eShop i downloaded 2 demos for free, the Super Smash Bros...just out of curiosity...well it is not my cup of tea because of the fighting I also downloaded Fire Emblem awakening, as i read it is highly rated adn that it is a cool strategy game...i never played any before and i am interested in a game that keeps me thinking etc Well i do not understand anything from the demo....
If i buy the actual game, with tutorials or the little booklet that comes with it, is it easy to learn how to play that game? And does it include many fighting part?

As someone in his late forties, I'd highly recommend Virtue's Last Reward—a whodunnit graphic adventure with multiple endings depending on the choices you make. It's also pretty cheap on 3DS.

VLR is amazing, and it has impressed everyone I have shown it to, from teenage guys to middle-aged women.

Currently Playing: Yakuza Kiwami 2 (SD)

If you replay the demo a few times, you'll probably start to pick up what's happening. The immediate structure of the gameplay is quite simple and any complexity is layered on quite slowly and only becomes relevant a bit later in the game. It's really just a more fun version of chess.
There is plenty of fighting but it's all scripted. You don't control the fighting directly, it's all pre-recorded animations that illustrate the outcome of your strategy. You can also speed up (hold A) or skip the fighting animations (press start).

It's dangerous to go alone! Stay at home.

Thank you for the reply regarding this game!
It is great news that in the fighting sceenes i am only "watching" it if i want, and do not have to take part of it. Now this game really interests me a lot. I will replay the demo then

I recommended cooking games because these games are best for girls. when girls play these games then automatically they learn about cooking.

baby games offer free online cooking games for girls where you can play and also learn about cooking.

Not sure if misogynistic or sarcastic.

A 30 year old gal may enjoy any game. It just depends on her preferences. If she was sparked by action games then Smash Brothers or maybe with a hint of adventure The Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past might be a good option, RPG's then Fire Emblem or Dragon Quest would be pretty good or even a game where you play a life you want in a fantasy world like Fantasy Life (duh) or Animal Crossing. It depends on the person.

If you want a fashion game that has been made by Nintendo themselves (so you know it's good), you might enjoy New Style Boutique (known as Style Savvy: Trendsetters in the U.S.). I'm a guy and I thoroughly enjoyed it, though it is intended for a female audience (the review on Nintendo Life for this game was also written by a man). Basically, you run a boutique, and you can serve customers, replenish stock (and clear out what isn't selling) and participate in fashion shows in which you have to adhere to a particular theme or style. There are thousands upon thousands of clothing items to choose from and eventually you'll be able to serve male customers as well (though their fashion choices are a tad limited in comparison).

Kirby Triple Deluxe is a lot of fun, Pokémon Art Academy is surprisingly addictive if drawing is your thing, and if the idea of a goofy life sim tickles your fancy, then you'll enjoy Tomodachi Life.

The same games I would recommend to a guy in his thirties.

Basically this, so Shin Megami Tensai IV, The Legend of Zelda games, Cave Story, Game & Watch Gallery games(arcade kind of game), Super Smash Bros, Animal Crossing, Sonic Generations, Tetris Ultimate(if you don't already have a Tetris somewhere else), Metal Gear Solid 3D(if you haven't played it on PS3), I read that the Etrian Odyssey games are fun, Color Zen, Turtle Tale, Shovel Knight, etc.

My post would probably be 10 times longer if I posted every game I think is worthwhile, so I'll just leave it at that, You're better off going to the eShop and looking at videos of the games on there, to see what you are interested in.

I doubt it would be damaged or have a permanent mishap. Fire Emblem: Awakening and even most games should be fine even when pre-owned.Their's nothing really effecting the game if it was owned by someone before hand. Some games only have a 1 time thing throughout the entire game cartridge like Pokemon Ranger games but that's pretty rare in other games.

Options of the pre-owned game may be changed though. You should start and wonder through the options and such because tutorial messages and other things may be turned off.
