Topic: What Apps would you like to see come to Nintendo 3ds/3ds xl

Wasn't a YT app for the 3DS announced at the same time it was announced for the Wii?

I'd like to see an Iwata Asks app that automatically downloads the latest interviews over Spotpass. I asked Nintendo about it and got a nice mail back telling me there are no plans. The interviews are always interesting and they could fill it with links to VC eShop games, etc. Would be nice on the bus.

An app that let's you play DSiware straight from the SD card

Some sort of photo taking app. I'd love to be able to save in game screens to an SD card and upload them online.

FlipNote would be neat too I guess, and I'd also sort of like to see a Find Mii 3/another StreetPass Quest. Can't say no to more hats!

• A decent Messaging app where you can type paragraphs instead of drawing limited scribbles. Has an added functionality to send full sized pics and videos from your 3DS gallery.
• Something similar to Skype.
• Online Pictochat

Off course this is wishful thinking, I remain doubtful that Nintendo will be willing enough to put effort into making these for the 3DS. I love to be proven wrong though.

The DS/3DS cart transfer app which turns ALL your physical data to digital and puts ALL NWC games to the new NN as well as others that could use online play (Mario Part DS, Contra 4, SM64DS, NSMB, ect.) also JP only games work in the transfer man I have high hopes

I think that at some point Nintendo and Sony are both going to have to have an eShop or PSN with pricing similar to what apple and android is charging. PSN has some of those currently with their minis, but I think they are going. To need to be more. I'm not talking about $.99 or $1.99. That would be nice, but I would pay a little more, say $3.99 or $4.99, to use the joystick and button functions.

If I didn't have a 3DS, and I didn't have an iPad, and I came to you looking for buying advice, and non-gaming apps were an important factor in deciding what to buy, and the only non-gaming app you could come up with on the 3DS that the iPad doesn't do better is a Pokemon app...
