I want Dead or Alive more. I've never played the games and it seems really cool because of the reversals but it isn't too complicated.
I may end up owning both.

Street Fighter 4 is a Better Fighting game. Dead or Alive has Jiggle I'm going with the Jiggly game
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
Super Street Fighter IV. Dead or Alive lacks depth and I'd get bored with it very quickly. It also hasn't changed much since the second game. Street Fighter IV, on the other hand, will last me for years. There's so much to it, so much to learn, so much to master, so many modes (though not as many as Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max), I'd never truly get bored of it.
What i played DOAD it impressed me alot and has alot more gaming options plus figures mode on DOA has display case and take you take photos of them looks very cool:-) it seems offer far more gameplay options than latter:-P
If we knew how small we were are problems wouldn't seem so BIG!
Well I only played both of them at arcades. I was more impressed with street fighter and it may not seem like a big deal to most people, but I prefer the characters in SSFlV. So I preordered it and will be getting it along with my 3DS at launch.
I already own both the original SFIV and Super.. so I'll be passing on the 3DS version.
I have DOA pre-ordered but the confusion over the release date has somewhat put me off, it's only just been confirmed today that it won't be a launch game in Europe, despite most retailers still insisting that it will be. Very unprofessional.
I already have SSFIV so I'd probably prefer DoA. Haven't played a DoA game in years and it seems like a solid entry in the series. Still, I'm not going to commit until some impressions and reviews go up. Those games tend to be hit or miss. I do like me some jiggle though.
In my opinion, SSFIV 3d is pretty much the 360/ps3 versions but with more stuff. Besides the backgrounds though

It is 30 fps with 3d on. I don't see why everyone is complaining about it though. 30 fps is fully playable.

SSFIV3D may be a port of the same game that's available on HD consoles, but at least it's not pretending to be a new game in the series while being exactly the same as always (cough DOA cough). DOA has always been a "not-bad" 3D fighter with fast action, nice graphics and (its biggest selling point) curvy women with over-sized breasts that like to take part in shower scenes. It's never been the best out there in terms of gameplay, and so far as I know Dimensions doesn't seem to add ANYTHING of real significance to the gameplay that's already existed. It does have a Metroid stage though...

Looks like you haven't seen Street Fighter II: Animated Movie. Attractive lady fighters are in every successful fighting game, and it's not all there is to DOA. I enjoy the Dead or Alive games because it's not about cornering your opponent or dedicating all your waking hours to memorizing long complex combos. Everything is fast and intuitive--even the countering.

You're absolutely right; every fighting game series has females that like to flaunt their stuff. But for DOA that is the main selling point. There's more to the game itself than boobs, and it's not a bad game underneath it all, but for at least 8 out of 10 of gamers who would purchase DOA over another fighter, the biggest reason would be because of the women.
