I want Dead or Alive more. I've never played the games and it seems really cool because of the reversals but it isn't too complicated.
I may end up owning both.

Super Street Fighter IV. Dead or Alive lacks depth and I'd get bored with it very quickly. It also hasn't changed much since the second game. Street Fighter IV, on the other hand, will last me for years. There's so much to it, so much to learn, so much to master, so many modes (though not as many as Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max), I'd never truly get bored of it.

SSFIV hands down.
I'm not a fan of DOA at all. DOA4 had some of the crappiest countering I've ever experienced in a fighter, it was very hard to pull off, but that very well could of been because the 360's shotty d-pad. Tekken and Virtua Fighter are also snore fests in my eyes. Yet I used to love the original VF back in the arcades and on the Saturn. I also had Tekken and Tekken 2 for the PS1....But bluh, the stiff robot controls, horrible music and lifeless gameplay grew tiring. I honestly can't stand combo based fighters anymore. And as for Soul Calibur....Part button masher, have skill based. mashing buttons will still make your moves flow like butter.lol What I love about SC 2 though is the multidrectional countering, it's always fun to pull off hehe.
Anyways, SSB Bros and Street Fighter are the only two fighters nowadays that interest me. BlazeBlue looks pretty awesome as well, oh and you can't forget the new Mortal Kombat.
Anyhoo! As far as fighters go, SSFIV 3D and BlazeBlue are a yes yes in my books.

Well I only played both of them at arcades. I was more impressed with street fighter and it may not seem like a big deal to most people, but I prefer the characters in SSFlV. So I preordered it and will be getting it along with my 3DS at launch.

I already own both the original SFIV and Super.. so I'll be passing on the 3DS version.
I have DOA pre-ordered but the confusion over the release date has somewhat put me off, it's only just been confirmed today that it won't be a launch game in Europe, despite most retailers still insisting that it will be. Very unprofessional.

I already have SSFIV so I'd probably prefer DoA. Haven't played a DoA game in years and it seems like a solid entry in the series. Still, I'm not going to commit until some impressions and reviews go up. Those games tend to be hit or miss. I do like me some jiggle though.
Oh yeah. I admit it.

In my opinion, SSFIV 3d is pretty much the 360/ps3 versions but with more stuff. Besides the backgrounds though

Does SSFIV 3D run at 60fps when the 3D is on? Sice DOA apperantly runs at 30fps when the 3D is actually one, yet when it's off it goes up to 60fps....That's a total 50/50 situation. Because I love my 60fps, since it makes a huge difference, but then there's that amazing 3D which is like looking through a window into a whole new world. The 3D would probably EASILY win me over regardless.

It is 30 fps with 3d on. I don't see why everyone is complaining about it though. 30 fps is fully playable.

SSFIV3D may be a port of the same game that's available on HD consoles, but at least it's not pretending to be a new game in the series while being exactly the same as always (cough DOA cough).DOA has always been a "not-bad" 3D fighter with fast action, nice graphics and (its biggest selling point) curvy women with over-sized breasts that like to take part in shower scenes. It's never been the best out there in terms of gameplay, and so far as I know Dimensions doesn't seem to add ANYTHING of real significance to the gameplay that's already existed. It does have a Metroid stage though...
Stop complaining and GO PLAY GAMES.

Looks like you haven't seen Street Fighter II: Animated Movie. Attractive lady fighters are in every successful fighting game, and it's not all there is to DOA. I enjoy the Dead or Alive games because it's not about cornering your opponent or dedicating all your waking hours to memorizing long complex combos. Everything is fast and intuitive--even the countering.
...in my pants.

Well ya, but if it were 60fps it would of been all the more impressive. But isn't SSFIV for the PS3/360 running at 60fps?
