3 hours battery life for 6 AAs and people complain about the 3DS battery life. Kids these days don't know they are born.
It's funny that you mention that... Anyone remember the Sega Nomad.... that was a portable Sega Genesis back in the day. I myself am a proud owner of one. (Are you paying attention Nintendo and Sega, go ahead and re-release Sonic's 1-3&Knuckes on the 3DSVC, I know I don't want to play them on the awful Sonic Classic Collection!)
Well, where do I start? One the screen resolution on the DS sucks, so everything is squished. Two Sonic 2 lags like crazy (unless you just play with sonic alone). Also the shield in Sonic 2 does not look right. The only one really playable game is Sonic 3 IMO. This is a really lazily made port and Sega should be ashamed.
What are you all talking about? This was about how nintendo week(The show on the nintendo channel) said all 8 DS sonic games were gonna have a special section in the eshop. Everything else is just speculation of what they might do with these games. Just because it was sonics b-day doesn't mean they would be put on yesterday. Sometimes they are a little slow so be patient.
Also any old school sonic title for vc(For example from gamegear) will be put on eventually but that wasn't what this was about.

I've actually been looking around for a cheap copy of the game online.
I'm willing to overlook the problems... at least it's not as horrible as Sonic 1 on the GBA.... (shudders)
Oh, yeah, Sonic 1.. I never played it myself but I remember back in what- 2006, at the end, I'm walking around circuit city and browsing the games and that game kept staring at me- wanting me to get it. I don't know how it ends up in the Gamecube section, even.. But it was there. Then about a year later, I decided to look up on it and it turns out to be the worst port. Ever. And wasn't that Sonic's 15th Anniversary? Damn, I feel sorry for him...
So, was Nintendo Week spouting lies or did Sega drop the ball? Either way, way to forget your mascot's birthday, guys.
You never know they might be putting the 8 sonic ds games up this thursday. Plus you have to remember they didn't exactly say what it was gonna be. I don't think nintendo week was lying because all the news they say tends to be directly from nintendo and its always right.
I saw that comment about the TG16 and questioning that for the VC on 3DS and then the TE was shown, but you know by that logic the Sega Nomad could allow for Genesis games on the 3DS too.
