All you guys care about are big boobs.
Anyways yeah I'm usually tight on money so...I dunno, might just get it anyways.
Not true. The hometown element is just as important as the life element.
They are very fun games, though. Code of Princess couldn't come close to scratching that brawler itch as well as Senran Kagura has.
And, somehow, the story manages to be interesting in ways I would never have expected.
Oh, man. I took my merry time finishing the game, but dear god, is the final boss annoying. I think it even got nerfed due to many complaints in japan. Hopefully, we get those patches (and the DLC) as well - the last two or three bosses are obnoxiously spamtastic.
Have there been any articles yet about how this game is digital cancer and "I don't believe in censorship, but games like this shouldn't be allowed to exist" and insulting anyone who buys it?
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.
I dunno, I stopped caring about the internet, if they wanna be little kids about these games, then go for it. I'll still get this...(eventually....next year...gotta save up for family trip, lol)

Keep it PG-13-ish.
I should have seen this review coming. The Shantae and the Pirate's Curse review complained about the fanservice in that game, too, even though it only featured the incredibly mild fanservice that all original Wayforward I.P.s seem to have.
Getting this launch day. I'll update this thread with my impressions as I play. I really enjoyed my time with the imported version
@Ralizah: I was going to reply to your original (unedited post) but I think you realised the holes in it, yes you prefer it but I'm sure someone out there prefers the gameplay of Superman 64 over Mario 64 doesn't change the fact one game is of a higher caliber. The original SK isn't bad but definitely nothing to shout about in the gameplay department, it isn't deep the game shines mostly from the story side so a 6 to 7 out of 10 is a perfectly fine score so if SK2 is more of the same a 6 is nothing to moan about.

SK2 is a good deal more polished gameplay-wise than the original. It's not Bayonetta 2, but I'd say it is the most impressive beat-em up on the 3DS.
And I have no issue with the score. I have an issue with the reviewer not giving the game a fair shake. Nothing about the story or music. The gameplay isn't super-technical, but it isn't a shallow button masher. Nothing about streetpass functionality. Little about customization. And given how much of the review is dedicated to complaining about the fanservice, I can't help but feel that this probably helps to explain the poor review.
My original point that I was trying to convey is that I don't know how helpful it is to compare games from different genres. Pikmin 3 is probably a more polished game than Viva Pinata, too, but I don't know what saying that accomplishes. And I'm certainly not comfortable with the idea that more polished games should be given a pass for things that less polished games can't get away with.

I hadn't noticed that. That's a really stupid level of sensitivity. Shantae is one of the least sexual characters there is. The kids that he assumed to be defending wouldn't even think twice about that sort of thing unless an adult forced their own trendy puritanism onto them.
(and then I read the endless war in the comments section below....which was also a stupid level of sensitivity)
