Topic: Purple Puzzle Swap Pieces

Just five minutes ago, Reggie's Mii was sent to me via Spotpass. He had all the pieces there are, including the purple ones. Is there any otherway to get the purple ones besides Spotpass? If so, please say so!

Get lucky, and get streetpass w/ other lucky people, and if you weren't, streetpass tag those who are lucky. That's worked well for me, I have half of KI: U and I've beaten all the other ones.

I went to a Comic Convention and got 66 Streetpasses, I was able to fill in all of my pink/purple spaces.

If you have a 2nd 3DS, theres a technique to getting all puzzle pieces including pink pieces, but its a form of cheating. So, on the 2nd 3DS you restart Puzzle Swap as many times til you get a pink piece & then you transfer it to your 1st 3DS. But in the end, you won't feel like a winner because you cheated, but you will have some mighty fine 3D panels.

I tried that when I got my new 3DS, but it took me about 50 restarts to get 1 pink piece, and it was the only one I already had for Kid Icarus, lol. Either I'm the world's unluckiest person, or the pink pieces have way lower odds of being picked than the blue pieces, because the odds of getting a pink piece should be about 1/5 or 1/6 if you had a fair chance of getting them.

Try changing your region. Apparently, their is some rumor going around that puzzle panels are determined by which region you're in.

I have every pink piece and I got them all from Street Passes. I have no idea how to get them besides from other people.

If you look at the description at the bottom when you select a pink piece it states that you get them via Streetpass. There's your answer.

Yeah, I was kind of wondering how you get the pink pieces through street pass if everyone is missing the pink pieces since there is no other way to get them. Not real sure how it works.
For one, there is no one here to street pass with. I take my 3DS everywhere, and I never get anyone except for the 3DS at Walmart from time to time. I am one of like 4 people in West Virginia with a 3DS....it also doesn't help that there is no special Nintendo events anywhere near this place, and everyone I know just plays Call of Duty.

Puzzle Swap pieces were dished out at random when the new update was introduced, so some people will have got pink pieces — I got one, for instance.

From then on, you have to StreetPass other 3DS owners and grab those pink pieces when you see them!

I see. I guess it just sucks for me then. I didn't get any pink pieces. I wish you could get them through Spot pass or something. I don't have anyone in my state to streetpass with.

They'll spread and become more and more common. Especially when Nintendo sends out more Mii's like Reggie. I'm going to the airport today, hopefully I'll pick some up

Do you know how many Street Passes you've had? (Not counting those Miis you get from games like MK7 and others.)
