They're going Dragonball Z on us. But hey, I liked how Buu from that sereis was designed so I'm willing to give it a shot. Just wished it was an entirely new Mew series pokemon and not another "Forme" which is completely overdone tbh.

It's a new Pokemon.
The official site says: "A new Pokemon with a familiar look." If it was a new forme, the wording would have been: "A familiar Pokemon with a brand new look."
