I used the cross-eyed 3D function, and the amount of depth was stunning. (IT'S BEST VIEWED IN FULL-SCREEN.)

So if you managed to pull off the effect, how great was it?

WTFYou have me sitting here staring at my screen like a complete idiot. lol
Well, it's the closest effect to the 3D I could find. I can only do it twice because it puts a great deal of strain on the eyes.
Remember, use the guide to cross-eyed 3D to help out!

I finally got it.
That is pretty cool, actually. Even though I feel like my eyes just ran a marathon.
And it looks really nice. I'm guessing it looks even better in real life, instead of staring at your computer screen cross eyed. lol

Reminds me of the gameboy and people going cross-eyed because the screen was so tiny lol

Yeah, cross-eyed 3D makes my eyes tear up but it was well worth it. At least the effect will have less strain with that depth slider added in the mix! The effects overall, especially for Resident Evil and Nintendogs+cats blew me away. I could see the depth perfectly.

I knew it looked like that. Corbie was lying. And luckily I have no problem with crossing my eyes. I can do it for hours
Probably getting a Vita with LBP soon...

To each his own.

Who knows, Corbie may have sworn to oath on the actual effect of the 3D in the 3DS.

This doesn't work with all pictures does it? Be lookin up them sexy women in 3D.
12. Posted: Wed 30th Jun 2010 04:19 BST
That actually worked! My eyes are a little strained but I got a good idea of how the effect would work. It really is something you have to see for yourself rather than explain. Go Nintendo!
I can also see why 3-D is not good for young kids unless we want to see a whole generation of cross eyed kids everywhere.
This has effectively made Sony's 3-D glasses technology obsolete. Now bring on those glassesless 3-D HDTVs!
Now I know I will be getting a 3DS. I better start saving now.

Haha, remember, if you must know, yes when you shake the 3DS, they jiggle.

I read the directions... but it doesn't make sense to me... How do you do it?

You just cross your eyes until you see a third image between the two and let your eyes focus on it.
16. Posted: Wed 30th Jun 2010 04:51 BST
It's rather easy.
When you look at the double image, you cross your eyes to make 4 imaginary images appear.
You slowly bring in the second and third images until they are a complete image and hold it there for the 3D effect.

Ok, it works now. Thanks.
I think I somwhat see the 3D effect, but its kind of hard to focus the two pictures together.
Ok, after some more practice, I think I finally got it. Looks pretty cool, but I'm sure the 3DS can produce a much better 3D image.
