Yeah, this game is pretty great. It does take a little bit to get going, but once you start getting some upgrades it's a blast. People who say it only takes 4 hours must not be exploring at all. It's longer than that.
Exploring every corner of your own mine is a big part of the fun. My favorite times have been when you're deep down with limited resources and some dangerous enemies around. Navigating your way back to the top with low health and no water is a lot of fun. The more I play, the more I'm enjoying this.

I'm buying this when I start to knock off a few of my Backlogged games. It sounds so good. Thanks for all the input guys. I will knock off Starship Damrey on my days off this week then pick this one up. Im also buying Fire Emblem so I can get the 30.00 eshop credit

This game is stellar. It keeps pulling me away from Shin Megami Tensei IV! Easily one of the best games on the eShop. I applaud the fine folks at Image & Form that made this game. I look forward to what they put out in the future.

It depends. It took me about 6 and a half hours, but at times I did take it slow, and when I realized I was at the end I went back and got every piece of ore I could find just to be a completionist.
As soon as it finished I started it again because I didn't want it to end. The game took a little bit of time to grow on me, but the harder parts were really fun to overcome. I'm replaying it now to see how quickly I can beat it.

Thanks,i've been taking it slow too,like finding all of the ores and upgrading Rusty,and finding secret stuff in the caves. I think i enjoy this game so much because i myself collect rocks from my 8 acre backyard,i have quite a few crystal-type rocks that remind me of ores in the game!
They Liked: The beautiful presentation, great replayability (13 hours to beat once, but randomized elements make each playthrough unique), fantastic gameplay, and reflex testing intensity.
They Disliked: Takes just a bit to get going.

Good luck with that,i would recommend at least trying this out before beating that other game.
It would be cool if Imageform made a prequel where you play as joe and you get to find out what exactly happened to him and it would be cool to just play as him. And maybe it could be long enough back when the Shiners were good! Also:I'm glad this is doing well in the eshop! Its in the best sellers and its one of the first things you see once you enter the eshop! Good job @Imagform!!!
