What do you mean, 3D? 3D as in 3DS, or 3D as in....just 3D?

I would like a crossover one for a galaxy 3 style, like Mario could go to a galaxy thats like SF or Metroid.

I have no idea what comes after Galaxy... It might be like Super Mario 64, where as part of the name is from the console. As for a Mario platformer on the 3DS, I want Super Mario D.I.Y. In addition to the main game, you get a level editor that lets you make stages. And a robust online mode that sends levels to you automatically, keeping the game fresh, FOREVER!!!

If any Mario game needs to come next They should make a dual layer Disc of every mario from super mario bros. NES all the way to super mario sunshine. And include a bonus disc for the soundtrack It could be done. If not that they need to give NA the Super Famicom Controller for the Wii. Everyone including Europe has gotten it. ITS OUR TIME NOW NINTENDO!
They could likely fit them all on a single layer disc. Both the Galaxy games are actually under 2gb of data and Sunshine I'm not sure but probably under 1gb.

You pretty much have infiinite lives in the newer Mario games anyway. I'm not even sure why Galaxy gives you lives though I guess they are useful if you die in a level you can continue from the checkpoint.
I think Mario should visit the real world in the next game. Much like in the Mario Bros Movie =p

I just read an artical about a new 3D Mario platformer @ http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/31412/Miyamoto_3DS_Marios_... I already read the news on nintendolife, but this one has Mr. Miyamoto stating that the 3D Mario game will benefit from the visual depth on the 3DS!
