...My internet decided to be weird tonight...so, yeah...no online hunts. :/

I'm trying to craft Elemental Decorations but they aren't showing up. I have a few Wycoon quests left in HR7 but I think I've got the rest of them in the Caravan and all the G rank ones. Am I missing something? Hopefully once I finish these last few they'll show up.

While IG or SnS are probably better against Gravios in multiplayer if only due to mounting, the Funlance is one of the - if not THE - best Blademaster weapons against Gravios. Especially so if you have Artillery God. Shelling deals set damage, regardless of where you hit. I don't remember the exact numbers, but I IIRC it's equivalent to a Barrel Bomb L. Over and over again, in spots where every other weapon would bounce off of.
Combine that with Guard Up and you can use your shield to block his lasers and various blight-farts. Guard+2 is great for sticking close to him. Razor Sharp might be good; if only to keep shelling from messing up your sharpness.

Get to G-Rank dude, you won't even be able to get close to Black Gravios without him hitting you with his fumes.

To approach, put away the GL (which takes approx. 1 1/2 hours) and run up to him. If he decides to start fuming, push R+X+A. It unsheathes your weapon into shielding. I already mentioned that Guard Up lets you block the fumes and lasers. While everyone else is still recovering from fireblight, keep on shelling.

You won't get a chance to attack, almost every single attack he does will spew out flames.

I always thought he was pretty to read. Just attack after he spews gas. He sorta pauses before he does this.

He doesn't pause....only the normal Gravios, the black one does it with almost every beam attack. (especially when he walks around shooting small beams at you like 5 times or so)

Probably because most of the people who liked the demo already got the full game.

Ugh, I hate it when monsters cheap shot you, Rathalos kept hovering next to me after I attack. So that "wind" effect kept happening to me against a ledge so I couldn't attack and then I get poisoned by him. T.T
Then combos me with fireball, the quest was going well too....>.>

I just wanted to share this:

I did a great G rank Ukanlos run with an online group; I died once, but otherwise it went swimmingly. Then, after we kill this monster, this guy says 'you guys did great,' 'another one dies before me.' He said that still within the mission, meaning that he would have had to predicted the circumstances under which he wanted to be a jerk.

So after we returned to the gathering hall I said what I felt was most appropriate:
"You know, Ukanlos lives over freshwater; there's no room for your salt."

I hate it when a party just goes there separate ways after a failure. Jeez people, dust off and try again. Nope, give up. Find another group because CLEARLY something is wrong with this group....I can't make any headway in G3 with people doing this all the FLIPPING TIME. Good grief. That ends my rant. how are your hunts going NLifers?

Perhaps, but that's all immaterial, no? What truly matters in life is sick burnz.

@MegaMari0: Hunting Gogmazios with Randoms is a joke lol. I'm better off solo'ing the thing. God knows that'd be impossible though

@HappyHappyist: Not always. I've had some of the quickest gog runs with random. This one player named LOLLIPOP was a mounting god. Once or twice every minute for 10 mins he was mounting gog and just bringing him down. Whole run took maybe 15 minutes if that... I will agree more often than not you'll get a group of morons.

@HappyHappyist: Randoms are very hit-and-miss. Wish we had that dedicated core crowd that got on in the evenings, like the one the Japanese community has.

Does anyone feel like doing the new armour dlc I was away on holiday when it dropped.
