Indeed! The second attempt went much smoother! That was a blast. I got an urgent to rank up after that last one. I'll give it a go tomorrow. Thanks again for hunting with me, I love hunting with players who know how to use a horn well.

Protip for Teostra: His supernova goes off 100 seconds after he starts charging it. Either watch the quest timer like a hawk, or use a Force Wystone as soon as he starts. The effects last 90 seconds, so once you get the "Wystone's effects have gone away" message, get out of his way to avoid 7th degree burns and salt poisoning.

Teostra is the worst to fight with randoms who don't know what they're doing. It's the worst thing to have a fight go decently, then stand far away pinging in horror while you watch as your teammates are all flailing away at it. Suddenly, the Teostra flies into the air.

At first we had a rough time, but we were able to organize really well with the two randoms that joined.

So who's up for some G rank hunts? Anything, I don't care what- I just wanna hunt.

I have a brand new Chameleos armor set with status skills up the yin yang, and a brand spankin new, fully leveled poison Chameleos glaive with which I'm eager to give monsters a taste.

I finally finished making the Lecturer Armor X, the skills are pretty good. Though after gemming in a few decorations and including a certain talisman it gives me Gathering God, Quick Sheath, Outdoorsman, Palico Hero, Elemental Crit and Raise Hunger. I can also have Rationer which gives me a chance of reusing consumable items, but I still need 2 more Cephalos Grandfins before I can make those decorations. If I have a weapon with 2 slots, I can take out Raise Hunger which is nice.

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with this armor, while it is pretty average for Multiplayer/Solo quests, the armor really shines in Expeditions. Plus I get to look like the Guildmarm which is pretty cool.

It's always nice to have a decent gathering set, seeing as so much of the game hinges on mining an gathering. I'm more focused on Charmer skill and combining with whatever gathering skill I can gem in. I have a 3-slotted Charmer+6 talisman, and finally got the Rath Gleems I needed to make 4 Charmer+1 decorations. Now, if only I could get 5 or 10 more, my Seregios set combined with a 3-slot weapon has enough slots to get Charmer God skill. I need a ton more Rath Gleem though.

Also, I really came to appreciate fencing. Now that I'm using different armor, I miss never bouncing off a monster. Granted, I got some decent skills in place of it but still- I wish I could have a set with HG Earplugs, Evasion +2 and Evade Distance, Fencing, and Sharpness+1 all in one. Lol, that'll never happen...

Considering a switch to Longsword. While Dual Blades are fun, I tend to dodge much less often because of the drain on the Archdemon Gauge. My mindset is to always keep the demon gauge as full as I can, which leads to me doing really stupid things with it. Is Longsword a decent weapon?

It's an excellent weapon. Really fun and easy to use.

Honestly, any weapon can be "decent".

I could use some help with the HR7 urgent quest: Slay Dalamadur

This quest is pretty confusing and I'm not exactly sure what to do. If anyone is game I'll follow your lead:

I haven't been able to put the game down. Still haven't played online much but my single player is going nicely. Well over 100 hours now and considering I don't have dedicated time to play I'd say that's good.

Don't worry! I don't really need to hunt anything right now. We can hunt the giant snake tomorrow or other day.

I got some new hunting horns with purple notes for big buffs, they'll be awesome.
