I beat the elder dragon Magala. Boy that was hard. This really long cutscene followed that seemed almost like end credits but qithout the actual end credits. Does this mean I'm doing high rank quests now or
Shagaru Megala is pretty tough. Anyone who's facing him for the first time in single player, please bring all healing items you have. He's tough.
I didn't actually fail the quest, but it did kill me twice. I'm just glad I had speed sharpening cause it's just one area with you and the monster and the thing is always after you.
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

Ah man, Zinogre is epic. He was probably my fave monster from MH3U... That epic showdown music kicks in, lightning shooting off everywhere, monster doing triple helix barrel roll cannonballs across the screen lol... Gotta be one of the most amazing fights in the game. I'm just glad he's back for MH4U. Of course, I'm not sure what happened to Stygian Zinogre, they probably dropped him in favor of the frenzy species.

Stygian Zinogre is still in the game, you just hunt him a bit later in the Caravaan(I dunno about the guild).

Ironically I didn't have too much trouble with him, he's probably tough to MH newcomers though.
Well I'm not exactly a newcomer and I didn't faint once when I face him. But I can just felt my heart racing and hand sweating while playing agaisnt him. He is properly hard compared to all the other mobs that came before him. I can really see newbies failing multiple times haha.
@JaxonH Did you watch the cutscene where a bunch of frenzied ioprey vs Zino? That cut scene is just plain epic. Also Stygian is definitely still in game, just saw a person who's rocking a whole set of stygian....these people are crazy man.

No I haven't made it to that cutscene yet. I'm on HR5 quests about to take on the Tigrex. Was playing at work today and my battery started blinking, then I realized I forgot my charger (ughhh). So now I have 5 more hours of work with no Monster Hunter to play. Booo!

Though I have noticed there's no "life of" prerendered movies in this one so far, I liked those.
You talking about the cutscene or the pre-rendered clip? lol
But anyways yeah, no Life clips, but these prerendered ones are still fine, I love the Gore one where this other ship rams him at the end.. xp
