i played a lot of online but i stille didnt go over 60hours

Well I don't know, maybe you're just magical then.

I'm on the Electric Gigginox and I'm already at 115 hours. I don't even play online/multiplayer all that much either.

well i sold my wii when the 3DS came around so i dont know exactly how much i played it or how far i have progressed in the game.

i remember grinding that monster which takes a bath in the mud from time to time. i managed to get that armor and felt like DA FREAKING MAN DUH !!!
i think i almost finished the singleplayer. but im not quite sure.

oh and i played with the hammer. i never really tested all the other weapons cause the hammer was too much fun.

i can see how you can get over 300hours if you try all the weapons

I had 400+ hours with just the great sword...

I didn't get that many hours inte Tri. I really, really liked it but stoped playing for some reason. And it was kinda hard to just jump back in again. Really looking forward to this though, and to play online with a bunch of people here.

This will be a awesome game. It is a shame though the does not support online, lets just hope MH4 does.
I also hope this game is lengthy, which I am sure it will be.

Hope they make a digital download version, it would save me from going to EB games.

I easily sunk over 600 hours in this. Now the offline looks that much better. Can't wait to see how this will look in 3d. It's been far too long since I've played this. The only thing that sucks is working my way back up to the new content but it will be fun!

I hate the Underwater missions in Tri, but hopefully I can get past that. Never doing trapping missions again, though. Those are freakin' nightmares!

Oh I agree but one of my fondest memories is that of seeing lagarius for the very first time. Scared the crap out of me!

Can't wait to be able to solo Ala and Jhen for once. (would say Jho too, but I managed to deal with him in Tri by myself finally. o.0 )

Well, there's a solid release date now instead of just March for you guys. I think I'll wait to find a cheap copy of the 3DS version and pick it up as my introduction into Monster Hunter.

I only started playing it recently and when I saw the Lagarius, It scared the hell out of me too.

In Ultimate yea, their HP will be reduced so that its very possible. I do think they'll hit just as hard still.

I'll be doing the same, though if the demo manages to convince me enough, I might make it a Day 1 purchase. Definitely gonna be getting this, either way.

Guys if its anything like the demo that came out for the Wii you might not like it! It's a game that has to be experienced from beginning to the end. It's an amazing game for sure but I remember a good deal of people hated that demo. Most people complained because it took to long to get use to the controls and the early quests were boring. Hopefully they will make a good demo this go around!!

@Tech101 Hmm, that is good to know, and I'll keep that in mind. I just have another game I want to get, so I was hoping I'd be able to get a taste of the gameplay and see which one I get first. I'll try it anyhow and see what happens; hopefully they've fixed the problems this time.

Is anyone familiar with tunnelling software (xlink kai, etc.)? last I checked no one had gotten it to work on 3DS, but it someone did we could go online through that.
