Metroid, Kirby and WarioWare are currently the biggest no-shows the 3DS has. I'm surprised by the lack of Kirby, and in spite of liking the game, I'm wondering why Nintendo opted for Game & Wario rather than a 3DS WarioWare title...Well, I should say I'm wondering why they thought that was a smart decision.
They had Spongebob Squigglepants 3D! ...that's almost the same thing, right...?

It's got the same concept as WarioWare, it does things right, and at the same time, it does things wrong (though Fred Rechid is in the game, that's a plus in my book).
Also, where is Contra?

I'm not keen politics since that stuff is spooky, I'd rather watch SpongeBob over Fox News anyways!
From Nintendo franchises.... I guess only Kirby, F-Zero, Metroid and Punch Out are missing (I don't count Pikmin because Pikmin 3 has come for Wii U and Miyamoto already said that it's impossible to make a Pikmin game for handelds). There is at least one game for every else franchise.
As people have already stated, Kirby seriously needs a 3DS game. I mean, COME ON! He had a bunch of games for DS (if I recall correctly, Canvas Curse, Squeak Squad, Superstar Ultra, Mass Attack... am I missing anything?) and they were all pretty great (in my opinion), but here we are, well over two years after launch, and Kirby is yet to represent. Also, where is Wario Ware? It seems like a perfect fit for 3DS, yet nothing even announced yet. On one hand I consider the 3DS to be one of the best handhelds ever thanks to games like Fire Emblem: Awakening, Super Mario 3D Land, Luigi's Mansion, Kid Icarus, and other great games... but on the other hand, obvious additions to series that would be great haven't even been announced yet, like Kirby, Wario Ware, Metroid, Punch-Out!!, et cetera. It seems like releasing games from these series would be natural and garner at the very least, decent sales.
Also, I would actually cry tears of joy if an Elite Beat Agents sequel was announced for 3DS. Or Wii U. Or anything. Please Nintendo, if you have a soul, give me my Elite Beat Agents!
@Captain_Balko: Kirby's always late to the party. He just got his first Wii game relatively recently... so it could still be awhile before Kirby makes it to the 3DS.
