Topic: Limited Edition 3DS Competition

I Emailed Nintendo and they said we won't get ours until the end of May to mid June 2014.

If this contest came to NA and I won one, I'd keep that precious limited edition darling mint in box. They're all too beautiful to get fingerprint smudges and dust on.

Holy crap! I wish this contest was in america. I really wanted one of those, it almost seemed fake due to all these people winning them. My opinion, If I won one, I'd keep it in mint condition and wait maybe a few years and it'll be worth a ton. You never know when you are older when you will need some extra money I think that's a good decision. It's also AWESOME for collectors of Nintendo items (If I had the money to regularly get cool Nintendo items I would be one).

But really, that's awesome to all those that actually won them. When they arrive take some pictures and upload it to the forum! Unless you choose to keep it in package...

@SkywardLink98, I feel exactly the same way you do my friend. Reggie needs to pull the damn Pikmin off his head, and begin catering to us loyal Nintendo consumers in the United States.

I'm so tired of whiny people crying that Reggie or NoA ignores us. So we're behind on some VC releases and we didn't get this contest. But how about all the great stuff we have been getting? A killer holiday release schedule last year and a promising list of upcoming releases. How about the club Nintendo rewards now including game downloads? You don't know what goes on behind the scenes to make things like this contest or VC releases or whatever else difficult for NoA to pull off, so until you're president of a large company, why don't you cut them a little slack.

We are not whiny, we just don't get why we didn't have the same contest. There's nothing wrong with us wanting the same thing as everybody else.

It's not everybody else though. Japan and Europe got, I know those are the other two big territories, but it's not like people all over the world get the same stuff. Let's face the facts, different markets have different rules, logistics, marketing needsand plans, etc. It's not a cookie cutter one-size-fits all kind of thing.

I'm getting fed up with the daily disappointment of not having mine...hard when you see so many in the UK have theirs now. Ours must be awesomely special if they're taking this long

@Mk_II, Nintendo Power isn't anywhere what it used to be my friend. It's pretty much just full of advertisements now, like a woman's health magazine or something like that. It doesn't feel like your, "PLAYING WITH POWER!"

I actually had the chance to get one of these. Should have entered. Oh well.
