Topic: Donkey Kong 3DS

When it comes to Nintendo there is nothing more charming than Mario but when it comes to brute adventure and the wildness of the wild itself you can't get any better than Donkey Kong. Now that the great ape has made his victorious return via the Wii in Donkey Kong Country Returns lets set our eyes on the 3DS and ponder just how we'd like to see Donkey Kong make his appearance in eye popping 3D.

How would You Like To See Donkey Kong in 3D?

1. A sequel to Donkey Kong Country Returns?

2. A Donkey Kong 64 Sequel?

3. Paper Donkey Kong (.i.e. Paper Mario)

4. Donkey Kong Jungle Beat 2

5. Donkey Kong Land

Personally, I'd really like to see Donkey Kong Country Returns II on the Nintendo 3DS and I'm also going to say that I hope we see a game that is a sequel of sorts to Donkey Kong 64 on the Nintendo 3DS!

I've never been big on Donkey Kong. The only game I've gotten around to beating Is DKCR. So I'd like to see something like "Donkey Kong Land Returns". I can't see Donkey Kong turning into an RPG like Paper Mario, but there's a first time for everything, I guess.

I know that remakes are annoying, but I''d like a DK64 remake, since I never played the original game.
OR a game similiar to it.

I think the 3DS should get both a DK64 remake and a new "Donkey Kong Land Returns".

I know its strange (im strange) but id like a DK64 Remake for 3DS and I want the Kongs to have 5 fingers this time not 4

I'm happy you guys are rooting for a Donkey Kong 64 3DS remake and for another Donkey Kong Land game because I was NEVER able to play any of the Donkey Kong Land games and even though I vaguely remember playing Donkey Kong 64 at a friends house it is my sincerest desire to see it reborn in glorious 3D on the Nintendo 3DS as Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D has proven to me that no matter what doubters say I shall never ever sell or trade my 3DS.

I just don't know if I should send an e-mail over to Nintendo to simply show my support of Donkey Kong on the 3DS as I don't know what one little me can do. To do or not to do? That is indeed the question Hamlet.

BTW is it possible to still buy Donkey Kong Land games? Do you think they might put the original Donkey Kong Land games up on the 3DS Virtual Console in the 3DS eShop?

Donkey Kong Country as a 3D classic would be sweet but they've made no announcements about SNES games...

It would be great to see all five of them on the 3DS. But I haven't really played all the DK games so I really don't know much about them or really got into the games. But if they bring it to 3DS, yes I will buy them for sure.

I would love another Donkey Konga sequel. I guess instead of bongos you could just use the 3DS's motion controls. Actually, now that I think about it. The game couldn't possibly work well on a 3D handheld.

I'd like to see a "Donkey Kong 4" sometime soon, with actual arcade-action, non-puzzle based, non-platforming perfection that feels like a natural progression of the classic gameplay. We've seen too many Donkey Kong character-platformers as of late, DCKR was the only good one.

Forgive me please...but what is Donkey Kong 3 and 5? I was searching up some things on various Nintendo fan sites and I saw Donkey Kong 3 and 5 and I was totally confused or are they fan made?

the 3ds has the power to make remakes a great thing. but it also has the power to make anything look great.
if the make a remake, they should plan a new and exclusive followup.
i dont want my 3ds to play too much on the nostalgia factor.

Donkey Kong 64 3DS FTW!!!

@TokyoRed Donkey Kong 3 was an arcade game starring Stanley, Mario's cousin, who had to battle Donkey Kong using bug spray. I've never heard of Donkey Kong 5 though.

Now Donkey Kong Land Returns on the 3DS is something that I'd be rushing to GameStop to pre-order!

DK is my favorite platformer EVER! A DK game on 3DS would be awesome! Although I'd rather have a 2D game of 3DS and 3D on WII U

I mean i don't care if it's called Donkey Kong Land Returns or if they go for a slightly different graphical style. But the graphics in the Wii title just scream "make us 3D !". And there just has to be a new Donkey Kong platformer with underwater levels.
