Smash Run is reason enough to get the 3DS version(but not having a WiiU also had a huge impact in my choice )

I'm on the fence. I definitely will be getting the Wii U version, but I'm not sure of the 3DS. What are the differences between the two?
As far as we know:
-Fighter roster is the same for both
-Stages and trophies will be different with some exceptions
-3DS version features "Smash Run"
-3DS version will be $20 cheaper
Added something for ya.
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)

Of course I am, as well as the Wii U version. Smash Bros. is a series I've always loved ever since Smash 64, so I simply can't ignore one of the versions. Besides, there's plenty of reasons to get both if you have both systems. They feature the same characters, but there's more to the games than just the roster. Both versions have different stages (with a few shared between them), different sets of trophies, different extra modes, and most likely more. The 3DS version obviously has the portability going for it, and the ability to take Smash anywhere you go is definitely a plus. Each player on the 3DS version has their own screen, which has already been utilized in a few ways. The Wii U version, on the other hand, will be a powerhouse in living rooms everywhere. With multiple control options and only one console and copy of the game required, it's a bit more accessible than it's handheld brother. Not to mention those snazzy HD visuals.
I'm definitely buying the Wii U version but I'm still not sure about the 3DS version...the fact is I'll certainly buy Bayo and Fantasy Life in that period (and maybe MegaTen IV, too), so I don't think I'll spend other money on a game I will get a few months later. But should I find it at a low price I'd buy it.
Yes, I will be getting the 3ds version. This will be my first Smash Bros game so I'm pretty excited. I will probably get the Wii U version as well, but that depends if I'm content with the Smash 3ds or not.
No. Getting the Wii U version instead. Just not much of a fan of fighting games on portable devices that much and I have a bunch of other gaming consoles, like the Vita, that keep me busy enough without it
