Topic: 3ds xl have anti glare screens

Yes the 3ds xl have anti glare protection on its screens. Atleast acording to nintendo themselfs.

Oh yes! Just one extra reason to buy a 3DS XL compared to the other... however the size of it is still off-putting and it's still ugly.

Why is Nintendo making the XL much better than the original? Oh well, doesn't matter later, as I am saving for 3DS Version 3.0, not 3DS XL

What do you mean what's the difference? Have you not heard of glare?

Glare causes a reflection to appear on the screen, this is mostly due to sunlight hitting the screen, or your face being reflected on the screen, either way it's very off-putting when playing games. But with these tinted (I suppose...) screens, it decreases how much reflection is... reflected. Simples.

That is why I call the 3DS my 'magik pocket mirror' my liege, ARRRRgh

One has 90% larger screens, which also happen to be anti-glare.

@MattEriks They haven’t done it previously due to cost.
This is definitely another plus. Now if only they'll release a limited edition Zelda 3DS XL...

This is another plus! I am sold on 3ds xl. Glare sucks, on the road.

im still sticking with my regular 3ds dont care even tho glare sucks

DSi didn't have much glare as far as i remember
