I highly recommend Rabbids 3D, its a realy good platformer (its the best Ubi game on 3DS)

You know I highly recommend Steel Diver, despite the review.
It's addicting.

The 3D visuals are wonderful, and i'm constantly going into periscope mode to try and best my score, or just play it again for the sake of good ol' fun. It really is a different experience.
The missions are challenging and require some practice. But will often have you playing them over again to try get things just right
It even has a multi-player mode, which I have yet to try due to lack of friends who own this game, but I believe it'll be pretty fun once I start getting into it!

If you're worried about value, I suggest trying to find this game a little cheaper, I got this from the Toys R Us, by 2 get 1 half off special.
I BELIEVE IT'S THE LAST DAY TO DO THIS! So if you have a Toys R Us around, please pick this up!
OR if you don't mind plunking down 40 bucks, and want to try something interesting and fresh, this is a must have.

Dear Rift: get Samurai Warriors. It's an excellent quality game.

I gave it 4.5/5 - the 3D is really well done, and actually does influence the gameplay in a positive way, StreetPass is used well, there are a lot of battlefields to play through, and there are a few new twists that make sure the game is fresh if you have played a Warriors game before,

I compare this to Pilotwings, Nintendogs, both Tom Clancy games and Lego Star Wars, and yeah, it's my favorite. Was probably always going to be my favorite, to be fair, but the games quality as a Warriors game is stellar.

Colors

Strangely, I don't really reccomend Rayman 3-D. It's a fairly solid platformer, but the graphics are worse then most other games and the 3D is rreally disorienting at times.

@ Square-enixFan: Even though I don't have a 3DS (you are lucky), I would go with Super Monkey Ball 3D or Steel Diver.

I'm back (for the moment)!

I believe the multi mode has download play, so your friend only needs a 3DS.

@WaltzElf: I got Rayman a couple hours ago. I was still undecided when I went to the store, but they didn't have Samurai Warriors in stock. It's still next on my list, though.

@PunnyGuy: Super Monkey Ball has tempted me even with the bad reviews It looks fun. I will see what other have say before I make the plunge. Steel diver also looks good but I have heard that is a little challenging and a little short.

See my comments above.

Of the two you've listed - Ghost Recon. It's the more original game.

But of course, comparing those two is apples to oranges. I have no idea where your gaming tastes lie, so it's hard to recommend an action-puzzler over or under a tactics strategy game.

HandheldGuru97

Sorry but I'm Back just found a sweet deal on Ebay steel diver and Ghost recon for 60 bucks should I get it?

games games games

but you must also consider protecting your investment.
a carrying vase is essential for me, as i always carry it around.
screen protection is also ESSENTIAL. My DS's screen got damaged during the time played. it still works, buts all the marks on the little screen gives it a blurry feeling. since i played the ds without any screen protectors, it shows and i regret not using one.
so an intelligent thing to do would be to plan a protection future for your investment. unless you're rich , i find it essential.

I have Rayman along with PWR and SSFIV. Rayman is the title I'm having the most fun with right now. Everyone seems to complain about the 3D, but I found that holding the system a little farther from my face was all that was needed. The graphics, although dated still look great. If you like n64 era platformers, you won't want to miss it.

I have Ghost Recon, if you want a game that will last for a good while. It is a super fun strategy RPG, the story good. If you don't like RPGs or strategies go with ridge racer.

I have Pilotwings, which has gotten a bit old and didn't last too long... I need a game with a story, graphics that show the 3DS's full potential, and a long playtime. I've been looking at SW, but I'm not sure about it. I keep on thinking that it would be best to wait for the future releases.
