If Nintendo is smart.... They will release 3D Classics: Sonic the Hedgehog on the same day that Sonic Lost World is released. That would be a great advertising plan.

Perhaps it could be released on the same day as SLW and come with SLW 3DS as a pre-order bonus. Still though, I'm not sure if I can wait over a month without spending my e-Shop credit...
...and BTW, Sega owns Sonic, so 3D Sonic 1's release date would be up to them, not Nintendo.

Stop being so impatient. Don't you all know how difficult it is to translate a 20 year old game that has already been translated from Japanese to English? It's taking nearly eight months just to get Super Mario Bros. 3, and doesn't anybody know how much dialogue that game has? Heck, it even took the American version of Super Mario Bros. 2 eight months just to come from Japan to America. Logic, everyone. Logic. One could argue because they were able to translate ten games during the 3DS Ambassador Program in a lot of languages within three months, but you have to remember that they didn't want to give Japan any special treatment by only giving them the games. Plus, they were even able to translate ten different GBA games in the next four months in all the American, European, and Japanese languages! You have to remember about the translations, everybody.

You do know Super Mario Bros. 3 was available outside of Japan, right? Plus, it's not a remake, it's a port. (SMB3 for 3DS VC is, not 3D Sonic the Hedgehog, which is a remake.)

I'm not talking about 3D Sonic the Hedgehog. I know that's a remake. I was talking about Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario Bros. 2 for 3DS VC. Those are ports, not remakes.

I think Sonic 2 is much too easy. Think I like 3 & Knuckles or CD best. I prefer the first to the second just because it is more of a challenge.

The Arcade version is pretty good. (Gets rid of the boring water levels and gives you are really tight time limit).

We're getting off-topic. The point is 3D Sonic the Hedgehog coming to Nintendo 3DS e-Shop. I believe that'll be announced at a forthcoming Nintendo Direct, which will probably be this Wednesday through Friday. If not, hopefully soon.

I don't know. I'm just assumed that because there's a significant Nintendo Direct before TGS every year.

Well, I don't have a 3D TV nor a PS3. I have a 360 but I don't want to fork over $900 to play Sonic 1. I just want Sonic 1 on my 3DS.
