Just yesterday I had a blue shell and was in 1st, with 2nd place pulling up on me. I tried to let them pass before I used it but things didn't work out the way I planned and got the blue shell to the face.
USA-based Nintendo fan here. I've pre-ordered every Nintendo console and handheld since the N64 days, yet have been unable to get a Switch 2 pre-order despite putting in the effort. I'm honestly not happy about any of it. I struck out April 24th when online US pre-orders began despite my best efforts, I haven't gotten any notifications from My Nintendo about getting one through them, both physical GameStops in my area closed a few years ago, and I don't have a Wal-Mart anywhere nearby. I do have a Target and a Best Buy in my area, which might be my only hopes at this point. I do most of my online shopping through Amazon. I'm beyond miffed that Amazon USA isn't taking pre-orders, as that's the #1 place I'd like to buy it from, but because Nintendo doesn't like Amazon USA for whatever reason, I can't rely on that. Seems like it would at least be an easy way to get more systems into the hands of more people by letting Amazon USA sell them, but nope. I'm going to keep trying where I can, short of overpaying on eBay, but I'm quickly losing hope of having a Switch 2 secured on launch day.
I had a ton of fun at the Uni Studios Hollywood Super Nintendo World this past May (power up band highly recommended). This makes me want to visit Japan and/or Florida's even more.
I remember this! I actually contacted the devs back in the day to ask if they would consider bringing it to... the DS, I think? Whatever the popular Nintendo handheld was at the time. They said it was up to Nintendo. Super fun platforming game made even better by the holiday motif. For sure buy for me.
Amazon cancelled my Paper Mario pre-order for no given reason on April 8th. Went to Best Buy's website immediately and pre-ordered there. No cancellation notice from them yet, but did get an email notice yesterday asking me to confirm my shipping & payment details so there's no problem shipping the pre-order next week, which was nice of them.
I've had a Panasonic Plasma for about 10 years and an LG OLED for about 4. The plasma has burn-in (forever an ESPN logo in the corner), but my OLED has never had that issue. The OLED continues to amaze me with its image quality (which I assume has only gotten better with newer models).

Re: Absolum And Ball X Pit Post Excellent Initial Sales, But They Deserve More
I'm waiting on my physical copy of Absolum. I'll grab Ball X Pit once it releases on physical as well.

Re: After Some Early Issues, Genki Has Finally Upgraded Select Switch 2 Accessories
I'm super happy with my Sleeper Case. Had to wait 2 months from launch for the updated version to arrive, but glad I did. Well built and looks great.

Re: Talking Point: The Switch 2 Pre-Order Situation Sucks, But Can Nintendo Do Anything About It?
@PharoneTheGnome Yeah, Sony's PS5 pre-order system was great. No hassle, no worry, got it on launch day.

Re: Opinion: I Hope Trails In The Sky 1st Chapter Doesn't Make A 'Big' Remake Mistake
Still one of my favorite RPGs ever. Played it on PSP and Vita and looking forward to getting a physical copy of the remake version on Switch.
