So I'm wondering if wearing a smart watch will cause connectivity issues also, with them tending to have a bluetooth connection. Wear mine on the left hand too. Connection to a pebble is good enough to send a text from a phone in the next room.
Switch still hasn't arrived but hopefully I find out today. That advice is ridiculous.
@TheRealThanos now I read a bit about emulation vs virtualization I can't see how it could be anything other than emulation. Thanks for pointing that out.
Not a game dev but don't get why x86 of itself would matter. It's all about the tools. Guess backwards compatibility will be with virtualization. The thing about talk of the NX 'platform' is that I'm not used to platform meaning anything concrete anymore. Iwata previously talked about iOS and android and iirc how 3ds and wiiu successors could benefit from a shared set of tools for how you'd write for their hardware/platform/whatever
Making my way through majora's mask before I pick up xenoblade. The fair few hours potential gameplay in the new 3ds launch titles might explain xenoblade not selling so well
@TreesenHauser same here. I got caught out by it rounding down the points earned per purchase, and by the time the points had registered on the premium site it was too late to do anything about it. Abyss would have been enough for me to earn a code.
Really enjoyed this. Liked how they got so much out of the mechanic, to the extent that getting past a tricky section would put a smile on my face, appreciating the ingenuity. If I'd not picked it up yet I wouldn't be waiting for the physical release.
6 year old sat next to me playing the original Legend of Zelda on 3DS Virtual Console. His big sister plays a lot of Tomodachi Life. Animal Crossing they obviously both like. Can also recommend Kirby, Pilot Wings, Harvest Moon and Freakyforms
Took the plunge with this game last week and was sufficiently moved to register on this site and comment on the review! It's definitely difficult, unevenly so, which, for me, took a bit away from the enjoyment of swinging off rails and shooting stuff. Filled a swear box getting to 80-odd cats. The updates sound like they're exactly what's needed to get more people to appreciate it. Enough for a re-review?
I agree with the score. Review doesn't mention the difficulty level though, which can be ridiculous early on and I feel is quite uneven, with some later levels being more forgiving. Experienced getting stuck on one level like the reviewer. Best played with a second player to keep an eye on the TV so that they can give you the tips and cat locations that are sometimes displayed on it!

Sounds like Itagaki knows what he's talking about

Re: Review: Shiny The Firefly (Wii U eShop)
@Cosats @Spooney_Tech all that money spent on parental ratings then Nintendo stuck Bombing B*****ds on the eshop front page

Re: Review: Hyrule Warriors (Wii U)
Thought the music was quite fun myself from the ads. Can quite believe the issues with fmv and narration though. Will still pick it up
Re: Nintendo Offers Condolences to Robin Williams' Family and Addresses Petition
I think dedicating the next (proper) Zelda game to him would be a nice gesture. Personally would be a little creeped out by him being an NPC
