@crzysortagamer HM64 is the best in the series by a good margin in my opinion, but that said I played the bejeepers out of this game too. I also dug Friends of Mineral Town, which is essentially the portable version of PS1's Back to Nature...which was the PS counterpart to HM64.
Still play the old AKI wrestling games on mine. In fact, I recently imported Virtual Pro Wrestling 64 and Virtual Pro Wrestling 2. Oh, and the system had OoT and Harvest Moon 64. Enough said.
I haven't played MK8 yet, but for me DKC:TF is my favorite "new" game on the system. I love WWHD, but I had the original for the 'cube so I already knew it would be great.
@biglittlejake I know I've read some articles about HM64 not being on the VC because of emulation problems or something like that. They basically said that it has an extremely low chance of being on the VC, but I would buy it in a heartbeat if it was. Still have my N64 cart though!
@Moorpheel I'm with you here... I think it's sad that the Harvest Moon name won't be used, but I guess it's understandable. Still, I think the series is adding too much and becoming less of what I want. Then again, I can just go back and play Harvest Moon 64 whenever I feel this way

"Chatting to a Koopa Troopa in the cafe or getting some tournament tips from Birdo in the changing room are fun extras that add personality to the Club area."
Exactly WHICH changing room was Birdo in, Thomas?!?!?
These look great, now all we need are some more 3rd party character announcements. Here are some logical choices: 1. Farmer from Harvest Moon. His skills with tools would put the AC Villager to shame and his turnip harvesting skills would make even Princess Peach blush! 2. Aero the Acrobat. Who wouldn't want to play as another obscure 90's platformer? 3. Cormano from Sunset Riders. Just cuz.
Really though, I think one of the Belmonts would be sweet and so would Firebrand, but he'd probably be redundant now with Charizard.
@noctowl Hey now, don't be hating on Wisconsin! We all know there will be an announcement of a game starring Miltank since Ninty is taking the time to visit the Dairy State. Maybe this will be a Harvest Moon/Pokemon crossover. Raise your own Miltank, Flaafy, etc. in a Harvest Moon 64-style remake...ahhh, a guy can dream right?
I thought ANB was a good step in the right direction. I've loved the series for as long as I can remember and buy just about every game. Things have gotten overly complicated in the recent games, but I can always go back and play the older ones to relive the glory days (HM64 is my favorite in the series and one of my favorite games ever...spelling and grammatical errors included!)
@Spuratis I've only played a bit of this, but both Mega Man X and SC4 are fantastic. SC4 is basically a souped up remake of the original, so if you've played the original I'd say go with MMX. Honestly one of the best soundtracks in gaming history. Storm Eagle's stage gets me every time! Really can't go wrong with the choices though...
@Sjoerd Beat me to it! I think it's Harvest Moon as well which would make sense actually. Raising Tauros, Miltank, Rapidash, etc. And of course battling nasty Patrat and Raticate infestations... It'll be an eshoIp title methinks. Added a link to an HM horse pic that's pretty close to the silhouette.

Re: XSeed Games Localizing Newest Harvest Moon for North American Release
@Moorpheel Totally agree, it's my favorite game in the series and I've put countless hours into it. I could go for a remake too...

Re: Gargoyle's Quest II Swoops Onto the Wii U Virtual Console in Japan
This game is awesome. I just recently beat the original, GQII and Demon's Crest. All well worth your time.

Re: Nintendo Bringing Pokémon to the Midwest Gaming Classic
@noctowl Haha, they could throw in some Step by Step and Happy Days references too. It's a little known fact that Wisconsin is a hot-bed for sitcoms.
