@Joe11 A twin-stick shooter plays like Robotron or Smash T.V. - left joystick controls the player and right joystick shoots. There's more mechanics layered on top, of course. But the visuals are a bit more abstract, like a multicolored Asteroids.
Pretty sure the movie has a June release date, and for the game of the same franchise to just slide on past it into summer is a pretty serious miss and not something the devs did lightly.
Animal Crossing: New Leaf is a game that hard crashed on me all the way back to the system menu - costing me a lot of work - and then proceeded to give me an angry lecture about shutting it down properly when I restarted it. Never played it again after that.
My launch Switch eventually just stopped holding any amount of charge at all, so having the ability to swap out its battery for a replacement would've helped its longevity. Though I expect there will be some engineering cost to fitting a proper battery compartment, either with a slightly thicker console or slightly smaller battery.
@Polvasti You absolutely can swap genders, along with a ton of other character features in the character creator. But because of all the voiced lines in the cutscenes, there's only one voice option per gender.
There's absolutely some sort of Rise 2 in the works built ground-up for Switch 2 (though they're not going to call it that, naturally), but that's going to take time and won't be announced until after the inevitable Wilds expansion runs its course some time in 2026.
When the original Switch launched, Capcom was late to the party by releasing the 3DS version of XX in the same month before eventually releasing a Switch port (which would eventually become Generations Ultimate) and then Rise built for the platform as a timed exclusive after World's run had finished with Iceborne.
Now, at least we know Stories 3 is coming and it's very likely that the Switch 2 will get another game from the Rise team after Wilds' big expansion drops next year. So there's little fear that Capcom is just going to ignore the platform altogether.

Re: Mini Review: Minishoot' Adventures - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition - Zelda Meets Twin-Stick Shooter Make A Lovely Pairing
It's like "The Legend of Zelda" combined with "Fantasy Zone". Both games originally released in 1986, coincidentally enough.
Re: Preview: Dizzying Detail, Fluctuating Frames - A Good Look At 'Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection'
@Anti-Matter Stories 2 features some recurring characters from 1 (aged up), but the stories themselves aren't connected between any of the games.

Re: Japanese Charts: Dragon Quest 1 & 2 HD-2D Remake Shoves Pokémon Off The Podium
Earthion charting at all - being an excellent shmup built to be emulated on a MegaDrive - is pretty neat in and of itself.

Remember before launch when Capcom's developers were asked whether Wilds would run on the upcoming Switch 2 and they all had a good laugh about it?
I can guarantee that nobody at Capcom is laughing now.
