The intelligent choice is South Pole, but I bet North Pole wins due to the greater northern hemisphere population and Santa Clause crap! Do I want 24 or 18 sea snails, that is the question!!
My wife and I got one each at the Grafton Target around 10am. Ordered 1 on Target online too at 730 this am. There were plenty left at Grafton, would have tried my luck for another one except the same attendee was manning the desk
Literally just got my copy in the mail today!!!!!!!!!!! Its a good read so far, Kurt certainly knows a thing or two about the old Castlevania thats for sure.
Hang on.... the same score as HoD???? Im sorry, this is a travesty! In my humble opinion CoTM gets a 10/10, HoD gets 7/10 and AoS gets 9/10!! Im currently replaying DoS which is better than I remember nearly 10 years ago, it gets a 9/10 too!!
What, a 9??? This game was clearly the weakest in the GBA trilogy, a step backwards from the legendary COTM, the new team we're finding their feet! AoS steadied the ship and redeemed the GBA series. Take it from someone who poured 100's of hours into these games starting back in 2001!! Good review otherwise!!
I think its my favourite of the GBA Castlevania's. The card weapon system was really unique, the soundtrack was tight, the difficulty was just right. playing this at launch on my fat white non backlit gab brings back so many fond memories, it was a challenge just to see the screen, sitting under bright lights was a must. This game was my introduction to the GBA back in 01'. Harmony of dissonance was a step back in my books, but Aria was a return to form (albeit a SOTN clone). Even without Iga on board this game shone, and the N64 Castlevania team redeemed themselves and left a worthy legacy. Circle of the moon till the day I die!!.
That black border around the box art is so ugly!! Thank god the Australian version ditched it. Such a rare game too, i was fortunate to pick up two copies back in the day. Sold one recently CIB for almost 700$$ I do prefer the gameplay of the gamecube sequel though, best game in the series by a country mile!!
Ah the Sega Saturn...... I decided to make 2014 the year of the saturn back in January, and Ive been giving it a hammering ever since. I bought one second hand about 12 years ago and have built up quiet a collection in that time. About 100 Jap imports and around 70 pal titles. Im on disc 4 of Panzer dragoon Saga at present and Im playing it similatneously on a Jap and Pal Saturn just to maximise the enjoyment. Played heaps of Nights too, finally got around to "A" ranking all the levels, and unlocking all the presents in Xmas nights. I love Rayman on the saturn, it has got to be one of the prettiest platformers of all time. I love the 4mg ram fighters, Norimaru has got to be the most politically incorrect fighter of all time. The Saturn is an incredible machine and makes the playstation look like a piece of rubbish that the mainstream flocked to. Long live the Sega Saturn. Australia loves the Sega Saturn for ever!!!!!!
