@GunstarHero234 I have been thinking about buying a PS4 as well, but to me there weren't enough games yet to really justify the purchase, as I'm mostly a casual gamer who sometimes like something else . So far, the Wii U delivered just that and helped me discover all kinds of new games. The fact that it did that almost makes me want to buy a PS4 for those other games, but so far the Wii U brought me a lot of fun, and even if Watch_Dogs gets canceled, it wouldn't be enough for me to buy a 400 euro console. But who knows what the future brings?
@GunstarHero234 Haha, I completely understand that people are upset about this (I am slightly too), but in my opinion people need to realize that a delay doesn't mean a cancel. When you own another supported console I understand you buy that version instead, but Wii U-only owners shouldn't be so afraid in my opinion.
@unrandomsam I was referring to the giant amount of expansions and consoles they released in a relatively small amount of time between the Mega Drive and the Saturn (like the 32X and CD). None of those sold well.
@GunstarHero234 My point is that there's no doubt that the Wii U version will be the least selling version of the game, so they probably don't want to delay the game on all consoles just because the Wii U version isn't done yet. Instead, they delay the Wii U version only.
@Doobie That would destroy everyone's trust, because they basically make people buy two home consoles in a short amount of time. SEGA once did that too, and it didn't quite work that well... And power really isn't the problem, because this game also comes to last-gen consoles.
I love how everyone on the internet seems to think "delay" means the same as "cancel". Of course it's possible, but has anyone thought that they might just want to make sure that they don't rush the release to make it in time? I'd rather have a great game later than a passable game earlier.
@aaronsullivan I have pretty small hands but I honestly don't have a problem with the GamePad. The Pro Controller is just more comfortable and has, like you said, a really nice feel and I love having both analog sticks on top. But when a game makes good use of the GamePad, I don't mind using it.
@aaronsullivan Agree, even for basic things like a map or item switching the GamePad is amazing and playing these kinds of games just doesn't feel the same without it anymore. I do prefer the Pro Controller for Mario 3D World and Need for Speed Most Wanted, but those games don't really use the GamePad.
I remember someone in the development team saying that the GamePad was a natural fit for the game, so it really wouldn't make sense to randomly drop Wii U support.
Criterion said the same about Need for Speed Most Wanted, though...
I think it was a good idea to let western studios produce a Sonic game. It's a good way of trying out new formulas to see what works best for the series. And the game just looks beautiful!
SEGA is obviously trying to get younger audiences with this and the tv-show, and that's not a bad thing. I really like the new character designs as well, though Knuckles will take a bit of getting used to.
@FilmerNgameR They definitely can, none of their recent games were broken or bad programmed, though I think that many fans of the Adventure series would be disappointed if SA3 would have the Generations gameplay instead of the Adventure gameplay. I personally prefer Generations though
I don't see why everyone wants Sonic Adventure 3, that name wouldn't guarantee a good game. I hope they continue the gameplaystyle of Generations and mix it a bit with Colours.
Played a bit of the demo on the Vita, I liked the idea but the difficulty is bothering me. After you complete the hilariously easy tutorial, the first level of the story mode seemed to be around the difficulty of the last few levels of Rhythm Thief on the 3DS. Maybe I was just tired though...

Re: Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Finally Hitting the Track in Japan
Still play this game every now and then, it's a fantastic kart racer and the music has to be one of my favorite soundtracks of all time.
