Can't say I don't wish it was out today, but if you spend every day waiting for a game's release you will be bitter and disappointed when it finally comes out. Just do something else and be pleasantly surprised when it drops. Otherwise it's just looking for things that aren't there and letting time go by. BOTW took long enough to come out, the sequel may take longer.
@JasmineDragon I also don't understand how a community of people who love Smash Bros berate and make fun of people who enjoy Fortnite. I think it's to feel superior to those who do enjoy the game.
@Yanina I have to correct myself, I mean the little section on the profile section on the new NSO app on the home screen called 'Your Stuff'. Right now, it just includes the user's cloud saves but has room for more rectangle shaped additions. I suspect that Nintendo might be starting their own achievement system! If not, other online stuff will be put in the 'Your Stuff' category IMO. Hope that clears up what I was thinking.
@RasandeRose Is that true? It's baffling because the 3DS and Wii U had Netflix. Could it possibly be due to the fact that Nintendo wanted offline streaming, eg. downloads, and that's what Netflix wanted money for as creating an infrastructure for that costs extra money. Maybe Nintendo wanted to work on their own infrastructure before making any such deal. And if it costs money for users to download stuff on Netflix, collecting the subscription fee could be just what Nintendo needs to close that deal. In all honesty, I think Nintendo just wants to milk people's interests in games before they put Netflix on the Switch.
@Tourtus Just drawing lines in the sand. I agree, I would love folders too. I'm just willing to trade one thing I want for the other. The Switch is such a baffling console. So trailblazing in some aspects, so elementary and 'not any different than 2004' in other aspects, specifically it's apps.
@ChaosBadger777 Not really the worst version of the game when you're taking a giant crap. But I see what you mean. This game's gonna look fantastic for the hardware, nonetheless. I feel like everyone who talks about how it's inferior is really missing the point. It's portable. Of course it's gonna be inferior.
I'd say Netflix is a bigger deal than folders. Why hide away the already nice menu icons for the games you have? I just want to stream stuff on my Switch, and be able to maybe message/invite friends to games.
This is exciting. The Nintendo Online system's functionality seems to be on it's way! I like the 'My Stuff' folder, it seems to be hinting at a possible addition of achievements or something similar in the future.
@NathanTheAsian It still is one of the most ambitious ports on the Switch. Nothing has changed. It being a digital-only is likely because the install size would exceed the system memory on the Switch, therefore forcing people to buy SD card space regardless of buying online or physical, so they chose to just cut the physical copies. That 64 gb Switch cartridge needs to come, really soon.
@Giancarlothomaz That's not how console generations work. It's a 9th generation console, power has nothing to do with it. I'd be fine to say that the Switch Pro if it ever surfaces could be considered a 'second' 9th gen console.
@SMUGSLOTH69 That and some decent streaming services, and I'll be really happy with my Switch. Until then it's just lacking the potential to make it my best console atm.
@The_HAB Good, you should feel like that. Making more 2D games people will buy will not effect the interest in 2D games at all. I don't know where you got this from. I think it's just a poll to get people thinking about Zelda.
@Cosats Lol Nintendo works hard enough censoring hardworking talented freelance developers, you have no need to do this. It's actually not illegal to post this, it's being used for non-commercial purposes and brings attention to the base game, as well as gives you a cool idea of what a game like BotW could look like with more civilization.
I'd prefer the creator of the original and most iconic Mario themes, Koji Kondo. Naoto Kubo did a fantastic job with Odyssey and I suspect that Nintendo and Illumination may trust him to do the movie's original score. Also, being that Illumination is doing the movie, I wouldn't be surprised if along with the soundtrack they get an artist/producer like Pharrell to make a pop song for the movie ala 'Happy', which would be massive for Nintendo.
I have a lot of concerns about the movie, the writers will have to be creative with the source material and elevate it or they risk Nintendo never licensing their IP for minor projects again.

@YoshiF2 Look into the concepts for A Link to the Past, they've wanted to do a futuristic Zelda for a very long time.

@MakkaroniOni Lol not really honestly, a character with a history of some of the best games ever will never be tarnished by one game.
Re: Nintendo Switch System Update 11.0.0 Is Now Live
@RasandeRose No games support it, funnily enough!

GTA V portable?

@pdapanda Not tech-wise, but technically the Switch started the next-gen.
