Like the staff writers, I ended up buying retro games. Bought a 3DS and a bunch of games after giving up waiting for them to come to the Switch. I never owned a Gameboy or DS so there's a lot of classics to finally be able to play.
Sakuna is one of the more unique games on Switch and I've felt it was better than a lot of reviews originally gave it credit for. As a fan of Okami and Japanese mythology and culture this game is fantastic. The updates are welcome, occasionally there are some minor technical issues.
Games that deliver new and unique experiences, like Rice and Ruin, should be given better scores! I have the collector's edition ordered and loved Okami for its Japanese culture so think Sakuna will be great too! Personally, I really enjoy a mix of game styles and activities so hoping to enjoy some rice planting.

Tried Monster Hunter Rise demo several times and found the controls slow and frustrating, so gave up on it and played Bloodstained RotN.
