I totally agree with this score; this is 2D Zelda perfection. I'm playing this through for the first time and I'm amazed at how the designers managed to constantly keep things fresh and new.

There's plenty of reasons to explore, the dungeons are awesome, and the combat is the most fun of any Zelda game I've ever played. And the items are awesome too. (seriously, jumping in a Zelda game? Eff yeah!)

This is definitely my favorite Zelda game, and one of the few that haven't bored me to tears. :3

Bah, thanks a lot Corbie, now you've got me interested in this again. Well, as long as Nicalis doesn't screw up the release date again, it'll be out in time for my birthday, lol. :3

I just wish they'd change that fugly box art.

Oh hey, Corbie, I've got a question: Do you have to hold a button down to run? If so, how are the controls? Is it like Y runs+attacks and B jumps, like in the classic games?

Also, do you have full 360 degree movement with the circle pad? Because in the trailer it looked like the player was playing with the d-pad.

I'm with warioswoods here, this'll be nice for more precise stuff. Still, it would've been nice to have a more sensitive screen for item management. You have to press fairly hard to get taps to register when you're using your fingers.

Also, I'm imaging Monster Hunter 4 on this and salivating hardcore. DO IT CAPCOM.

lol me too for the most part. Here's the trick to playing it:

Hold right off of a ramp to jump low and far, and hold left off the ramp to go high and short. Always land with your wheels parallel to the ground, and use the boost (B button) when you need to.

lol I love how PR takes a simple fact and turns it into a mild, condescending attack. And yes, Nintendo does it too.

It's kinda funny watching this because Sony loves picking on Nintendo, Nintendo loves picking on Apple, and Apple and Microsoft just keep their mouths shut.
