@DockEllisD technically not a "Legend of Zelda" game as it isn't in the title, but then by that reckoning neither is "Zelda II: The Adventure of Link".
Edit: my comment makes slightly less sense with the change to the question.
@chagrined yes this is really really annoying, i'm getting a few niggly bugs like this… wondering why it was delayed when they clearly didn't spend the time cleaning up bugs
I've seen this "Neon Advance" on so many game sites lately but it rather irked me that they all fawned over them as though no one had ever made a game boy macro before lol, I actually really enjoyed this article and I'll admit, I was guilty of calling this a "lazy macro" but after this interview I find it totally fair what he's done. I've actually made a macro before and mine really was lazy, I wanted to do it without any soldering whatsoever! It worked though, and it really is a lovely way to play GBA games
quite remarkable how many people have such a poor opinion of pewdiepie based on what journalists looking for a juicy scoop wrote about him. i understand though, i was there with you, thought he was a scumbag, entitled a$$hole… then i actually watched him and realised he's a pretty genuine bloke. any of us could easily mess up like he did, the only difference is none of us will have a media witch hunt after us if we did. he comes across as a pretty down to earth person and it's totally in contrast with what I (and probably a lot of you) read about him in the media. anyway, regarding the game, seems like fairly light fun, may have a look in to it… i also may just wait till it's discounted lol
@dumedum that's a fair assessment and you're right, in terms of assets and capital, etc. Sony dwarfs Nintendo. However, the very fact that the company of Nintendo is worth more to investors and the global market than the physically bigger company of Sony is still noteworthy. I believe I read that currently the only division of Sony which is posting profits is the gaming division (it may have been something other than profits). Technically this should mean that Nintendo is in a much stronger position to experiment and in a stronger position to follow trends that may lead to nowhere, such as VR, since Sony needs to be conservative and risk averse in their only profitable division, gaming. Still, at the end of the day, Nintendo do as Nintendo does. I'm not bothered with VR since it seems like a total fad to me, like 3D was, and I don't plan on owning a 4K TV any time soon so…
@GC-161 this is a UK website, written in English, and with readers from primarily English speaking countries. We get sales lists from US, UK and Japan, and we only get Japan because it's Nintendo's home. Furthermore, how do you know any of those countries list comprehensive sales lists for video games? And you're literally commenting on an article about sales in a European country that isn't the UK… the mind boggles.
@GC-161 you speak english, therefore all gaming news you read is in english, therefore UK seems like the centre of the European gaming universe. Trust me, it's not. Nintendo is huge in Germany for example.
@Minfinity actually Nintendo has a market cap bigger than Sony's… not just Sony's games division, the entirety of Sony, Nintendo is worth more than the entirety of Sony. So while sure, Microsoft is larger, I'm not sure where they're getting this idea that they're the "little guy" from, just because they had a bad generation with the Wii U.
I'd really like to see one more Zelda game made in the classic way. Don't get me wrong, I think Breath of the Wild is probably my favourite Zelda game now, but I still do love the classic design of Zelda games… there's a reason I fell in love with the series after all!
@frogopus @JHDK one way i always imagined them possibly doing it was making the right analog stick control the sword. since there was no right analog stick on Wii it could possibly work? with a stab being clicking the stick in? of course that would mean no camera controls.
@JHDK as much as i want a Skyward Sword HD remake (480p just doesn't do that art style justice) it seems like a tricky one… sure, the joy cons have motion controls which would totally work for TV play but how would you play in portable mode? just not sure we'll ever see a SS remake to be honest
@Menchi187 yeah probably, i'm expecting €299. but then everywhere takes the mick with prices in Ireland. good news is you can always order from game uk or amazon, that's how i got Twilight Princess HD, gamestop wanted 90 bleeding euro for it?!
