@ Mickeymac (#110): "I do agree that the N64 games haven't aged well, but to be honest, I thought those games were ugly back when they were state of the art."
Really? Maybe you just can't remember, or you played the wrong games^^, because i don't believe that you really thought 10 years ago that Ocarina of Time or Banjo-Kazooie looked ugly.
He emulated Super Mario Sunshine, an exclusive GameCube title, on the PS2? Are you sure? I would go as far to say it's impossible. I mean, the GCN had more power than the PS2, and to emulate a GameCube game needs much power, so i can't really believe this. How should that work?
(Or do you mean Super Mario 64? Or Super Mario Sunshine on the PS3? Both would be more realistic^^.)
Isn't it a little bit late? The absolutely awesome Mega Man 9 soundtrack was released in Japan in September, and i already have it since then, too. Thanks to Play-Asia =)
@ Stuffgamer1 (#90): "@Betagam7: Really? No games unlocked as you played Brawl? As I recall, the Virtual Boy list starts empty in America, too, but it fills as you unlock stuff in Brawl"
The Virtual Boy list fills in the Europe version of SSBB, too.
@ Mr. M (#59): "Judging by the lack of upcoming downloadable classsic games, i have my doubts that any of these games will ever be put on the service."
Don't you think your assumption is a little bit unrealistic? For example Earthbound was rated by the ESRB .
@ "Exactly, which is the reason why I said "may never come."":
I don't think it is unrealistic that the DS successor may get a Virtual Handheld/Game Boy.
@ MetroidMedia: Real fans buy games they like and not just Nintendo ones... There are plenty of other great non-Nintendo games already released, maybe you should try some of these .
I noticed a strange coin-like satillite while playing. It looked like a silver coin being flipped but in slow motion, and was moving in a straight path. It didn't produce gravity or anti-gravity (just like the crescent moons). I wasn't able to get it into my orbit before I completed the stage and when I re-tried the stage the statille did not appear.
What the heck. Has anyone else even seen this coin-like satillite? What does it do if you get it in your orbit?"
I saw it today, too, but also wasn't able to get it. The same question: What does it do if you get it in your orbit?
Also after reading the comments, i still don't know what's wrong about Peter Moore's statement (he just say he was ‘surprised’ to see so high). Or why it deserves a whole news.
@ Stuffgamer1 (#80): "On the Xbox 360, you have a Gamertag. Your downloads are linked to that just as much as they are to your console. Their next system has already been announced (no link, sorry; I just haven't been able to find the dang thing for some reason!) Compare that to Wii's download service, where we have NO guarantee of ANY kind that their next system will support the downloads from the Wii."
On Wii your games are linked to your 'Club Nintendo Account'. And no, Microsoft didn't announced the 720. That's why you can't find the news .
@ SlyRax (#81): "So why should Sega, Hudson or whoever bother and continue publishing titles that afficionados like us would love to see but which ultimately fail to make an impact in sales figures?"
Maybe because they earn money?
@ Starwolf_UK:
Star Fox 2 programmer Dylan Cuthbert said that the game was fully completed, so it shouldn't be a big problem to release it.
@ Digiki: As Stuffgamer1 said, SMRPG without Mario wouldn't be the same because the whole humor wouldn't function. And this isn't a little part of the game.
Aardvark Soup: "Judging from how many already released VC games there are that have received a 5-star rating from this site, there is not much to complain about. There are plenty of good games already available, you just shouldn't expect a new blockbuster title every week."
Adam: "The fact is, Nintendo has released a ton of games already. In fact, 72 of the games released so far have been rated 5 out of 5 stars by this site. SEVENTY-TWO. I highly doubt there is a 360 or PSN site out there that is half as pleased with its respective catalog of games. Nintendo really came out swinging right from the start."
@ Digiki (#206): Different person, different opinion^^.
But if you look at at the average reader rating, you see that SMRPG is one of the highest rated games on the website, so i think SMRPG did something right^^.
@ Stuffgamer1 (#130): "I have over 50 Arcade games, vs. fewer than 10 WiiWare games."
And the Virtual Console? It is also a 'digital distribution service'. So normally, if you compare two services, you have to compare them as a whole and not separately.
@ Tides of Chaos (#27): "No matter how good this game is, I'm betting it won't sell well, similar to how Toki Tori didn't. The name is just too bizarre, again, like Toki Tori."
The name 'World of Goo' is not bizarre?
And here the title says more about the game than 'Toki Tori' (great game, must buy!) . You are a Samurai toaster .
I know that you said "released", but for example with World of Goo, Final Fantasy, LostWinds, Toki Tori, MM9, Bomberman, Tetris Party, the Art Style- and Strong Bad-series i still can't agree with your comment that Braid and Castle Crashers alone should be worth more than ALL of the Wiiware releases.
@ Manicfatty (#68): "Braid and Castle Crashers alone are worth more than all of the Wiiware releases."
Do you know all WiiWare games? It seems not...
@ Rapadash6 (#50): "I think Uniracers is unable to be published because of some copyright infringment that occourred when the game was originally released."
It was rated by the ESRB some time ago, so i don't think there should be a problem with a copyright.
@ Digiki: "SMRPG is so typical RPG, if you time your attacks and not magic or defence, it plays exactly like any other turn based RPG, except a lot slower, and with mostly ugly bad guys."
Yeah, but i meant the gameplay outside of the battles.
@ Bahamut ZERO: Well, how should i know all of these points if you didn't write them down before?
And for me, the popularity of Square was already better in the past, especially after the many ports/remakes and only few original games in the last years.
I also disagree about the original being the best. The courses aren't that great, and for me the splitscreen in the singleplayer mode was a bay solution. And the "drift-control" was not very good, too.

Re: Capcom To Release Mega Man 9 Soundtrack
@ Objection_Blaster (#47): "With 5 discs, I'm now consdiering getting the Okami OST sometime"
Really, you wouldn't regret it, the Okami soundtrack is absolutely awesome.
Re: Review: Art Style: Orbient (WiiWare)
I just saw it once, and in my case it moved on a circular path, but i wasn't able to watch it a long time.
Re: Capcom To Release Mega Man 9 Soundtrack
@ Stuffgamer1: "I love game music and would buy lots if it was widely available."
Then go to Play-Asia.com, it has tons of soundtracks available =).
Re: Talking Point: Is the Virtual Console On The Slide?
For me it seems that some people just want to be unable to see good/great games on the Wii/VC...
Re: Capcom To Release Mega Man 9 Soundtrack
@ Wiiloveit (#39): "Yeah, but have you see the price of their Okami soundtrack?"
It costs 51.90$, and it is worth every dollar. (Note that the O.S.T. consists of 5 CDs.)
@ tantrumario (#42):
They released the soundtrack even before the game, as i said in September (in Japan, easy to get through Play-Asia.)
Re: Bit.Trip: Beat
Sounds really, really great to me =).
Reminds me of the awesome 'bit generations'-/'Art Style'-series, so i am very interested in the other 4 Bit.Trip games, too.
And yes, a video would be very nice^^.
Re: Capcom To Release Mega Man 9 Soundtrack
@ Wiiloveit (#27): "Anyways: here's the cheapest one on ebay for anyone who wants it at £23.61" (~ 36$)
Why do you don't just go to Play-Asia.com?
http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-8l-77-1-49-en-15-mega+man+9-70-2xir.html
26.90$ + 2,90$ for shipping.

No. Like Rapadash6 said, Little Nemo is public domain:

The Virtual Boy list fills in the Europe version of SSBB, too.
Re: EU VC Update: Enduro Racer and Donkey Kong 3
@ Shadx (#54): "Also will there be more Virtual Consoles or are we done (europe is done, we need one more)?"
There are still so many classic consoles out there to bring on Virtual Console, consequently i don't think the C64 will be the last.
@ "Europe has the C64, so will we be getting ours soon or will w have to wait forever?"
I think there are problems because of the current license holder of the C64.

Re: High Voltage Voltage Hot Rod Show Dated For 19th Jan
I don't know, for me the content is just too little for 1000 points.
Re: Review: Art Style: Orbient (WiiWare)
I don't think it's a glitch, because it don't look like a graphical fault or something, but i'm not sure, too^^.

Nice to read that =)

@ Bensei (#49): "Only two games left? Does that mean that we're only missing Kirby's Dreamland 3 and Star Tropics II, which are both hanabi titles?"
No, that means there are 272 VC-games released in Europe and 274 VC-games released in the USA, but not the same ones.
Here you have an overview, scroll down to see which games are missing in each region:

Re: EU VC Update: Enduro Racer and Donkey Kong 3
@ Mike (#32): "Again Bass is obsessed with how many games Europe is behind the U.S. Face it, you'll never pass us."
How can you know? The difference is just 2 games, don't be so confident .
Re: Ten Games We'd Like To See On The Virtual Console In 2009
@ Nobarai (#12): "Not a single Sega Saturn game!"
There is not yet a Saturn support on the VC, that's the reason .
My list would look like this:
Re: EU VC Update: Enduro Racer and Donkey Kong 3
Nothing for me this time, but although i have 92 VC games, there are still games on my download list, so it's not that bad for me^^.

Re: Talking Point: Is the Virtual Console On The Slide?
"Not all Wii Shop games are eligible for registration on the Club Nintendo site."
Here in Europe (Germany) i can see every VC-/WiiWare-game i've downloaded since the start of VC/WiiWare.
Again @ Starwolf_UK:
Star Fox 2 programmer Dylan Cuthbert said that the game was fully completed, so it shouldn't be a big problem to release it.
Re: Talking Point: Is the Virtual Console On The Slide?
"and putting it online should at maximum require to pay a fee to nintendo."
I don't think so, because Nintendo (and also Microsoft and Sony) gets a part of money from every download.
Re: Talking Point: Is the Virtual Console On The Slide?
A serious question: Which effort?
Re: EA's Moore Perplexed by World of Goo Success
@ Stuffgamer1: As Mickeymac sais, it was a joke.
But beside the fact that this concerns Fifa, i still don't know the sense of this news and the bashing (in the news, too).
Re: Talking Point: Is the Virtual Console On The Slide?
@ Stuffgamer1 (#125.): "Far as I can tell, Club Nintendo only records the games you've bought that are eligible for coins."
No, i've checked it and it records EVERY VC/WiiWare-game you have bought.
Re: EA's Moore Perplexed by World of Goo Success
He just says: "World of Goo? I'm sure it's fun, and the reviewers certainly loved it, but surprised to see up so high."
He says nothing bad about the game, so what?
Apparently many just read more than he actually said.
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Sandy Beach
What? Since when are games for kids not games for "gamers"?
Re: EA's Moore Perplexed by World of Goo Success

I absolutely agree with these statements.
Re: Talking Point: Is the Virtual Console On The Slide?
Oh no, not another article with dozens comments full of complaints =(.
@ "Street Figher II HD Remix - never coming to the VC!":
Of course not. It was never planned to ad extra stuff to Virtual Console games, this is the function of WiiWare.
@ Coming Soon list: Does every title, before released in the USA or Europe, really appear on that list?
