I've always thought that the "Best Family Game" award was pretty condescending, especially toward Nintendo.

@NintendoFan64 The Starter Pack is $60 - $80 (The Wii U version is $62 right now) instead of $100 on Amazon, Fun Packs seem usually be $12 instead of $15, Team Packs don't seem to have changed much, ($25) And the Level Packs are usually $20 - $30.

@NintendoFan64 The prices are going way down fortunately. And if you ignore that the Level Pack's length in gameplay and pay attention to what your getting per pack, you actually get MORE than Disney Infinity or Skylanders most of the time.

@ekreig Good point. I hope that's what they are. I can imagine an Animal Crossing Furniture Catalog app that sells exclusive furniture or something. But if it's something like that, you would probably be able to use Platinum Points instead of real $. Or perhaps both.

I hated the cuccos in the original! They were WAY overpowered.
